I love [name]Julian[/name] and [name]Caspian[/name] but it shares a similar ending with [name]Madelyn[/name] so I chose the other two above. I love [name]Everett[/name] too but it shares an “er” with [name]Alexander[/name] and a prominent “v” with [name]Genevieve[/name].

Exactly-- I would not use [name]Caspian[/name] or [name]Julian[/name] as it’s far too close to [name]Madelyn[/name]. I love [name]Elias[/name] for you-- it’s courtly, distinguished, continental and grown-up, much like your existing children’s names.

This is exactly my feelings.

I hadn’t even thought of the similar endings. I’m not too concerned, because our [name]Madelyn[/name] goes by [name]Maddie[/name] pretty much all the time. But it is definitely something to consider (especially [name]Julian[/name] which has a VERY similar ending). Thanks!

I voted for [name]Julian[/name], I love [name]Elias[/name] too!

Thanks! My husband really loves [name]Julian[/name] and [name]Elias[/name] too. Boy names seem to be so much harder than girl names! I’m completely in love with [name]Caspian[/name] right now, but it’s a new love so I’m not sure it will last.

I completely agree about sibling names. I want something that’s at least sort of similar in style, but I’m not terribly concerned about two names ending in “en”/“an”. Thanks for your feedback!

I voted for [name]Caspian[/name]. I think [name]Caspian[/name] and [name]Alexander[/name] sound like greatness together!
