I voted for [name]Elodie[/name] [name]Rose[/name]. Only because [name]Rose[/name] is a very common mn and I think [name]Elodie[/name] is the more unique first name. It’s a beautiful name.

I chose [name]Elodie[/name] since it’s not as common as [name]Jenna[/name] and the two [name]Jenna[/name]'s I knew were very mean

Ha ha ha – I was thinking the exact same thing. I voted [name]Elodie[/name] also. Much more classic and beautiful. [name]Jenna[/name] has bad personal associations for me.

While I like [name]Jenna[/name], I think [name]Elodie[/name] [name]Rose[/name] is more refreshing. :slight_smile:

[name]Elodie[/name] [name]Rose[/name] is lovely and I don’t think [name]Jenna[/name] [name]Rose[/name] can even compete. I remember when the name exploded on the charts - no one even considered it until [name]Priscilla[/name] [name]Presley[/name] played a character named [name]Jenna[/name] on “[name]Dallas[/name]”. It was very trendy then and sounds “dated” now.

My first son is called Eesa so will be going with That, some people have commented on the E trend with [name]Elodie[/name], does this matter?

Eesa – what an interesting name! Is it pronounced EE-sa?

I don’t think the E trend matters and I’d argue that [name]Elodie[/name] goes better with Eesa because of the similar “a” endings in Eesa and [name]Jenna[/name]. That just sounds a little too matchy-matchy to me.
