[name_f]Lovely[/name_f] names! Here’s my ranking, from most favourite to least:

  1. [name_f]Bellarose[/name_f]
  2. [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f]
  3. [name_f]Theodora[/name_f]
  4. Lillabelle
  5. [name_f]Pearl[/name_f]
  6. [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f]

[name_f]Bellarose[/name_f] is beautiful! (And for what it’s worth, I like it even better as two names: “Bella Rose”….)

[name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] is a lovely, classic name, although there are quite a few of them around these days. If potential over-popularity isn’t an issue, I’d say you can’t really go wrong with this name! [name_f]Isabella[/name_f] is equally pretty.

[name_f]Theodora[/name_f] isn’t my personal style, but I can certainly appreciate its elegance. Lots of nickname potential, too: [name_u]Theo[/name_u], [name_f]Thea[/name_f], [name_f]Dora[/name_f], [name_f]Dori[/name_f], etc. With your surname, I think I slightly prefer the balance of the “belle” names, as it gets a tad long with this one.

I really wanted to rank Lillabelle higher, as I love the “Lily” names, but I can’t quite tell how it’s pronounced… LILL-a-bell, LEE-la-bell, or LY-la-belle? Maybe there’s a different spelling that might alleviate this issue? [name_u]Or[/name_u] you could divide it up: [name_f]Lila[/name_f] [name_f]Belle[/name_f], [name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_f]Belle[/name_f], etc.

[name_f]Pearl[/name_f] is SO sweet and old-fashioned (in a very nice way), and there’s a unique charm to alliterative names… however, I think the initials “P.P.” might invite some teasing, which is the only reason why I voted this one lower. Otherwise, it would have been #1 or #2 on my list!

[name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] doesn’t quite have the same ring to my ear as the others do… it just seems a bit more “plain” somehow. (As an aside, have you considered Arabelle?) Also, [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] might often end up being shortened to just Anna… which is a perfectly nice name too, of course!

Congratulations :tada:

Ranking your list from favourite to least favourite

[name_f]Theodora[/name_f] ~ I absolutely love [name_f]Theodora[/name_f] she’s elegant, timeless, warm with a slight whimsical flair. I absolutely love the nicknames [name_u]Teddy[/name_u], [name_f]Thea[/name_f] & [name_f]Dora[/name_f].

[name_f]Pearl[/name_f] ~ such a gorgeous gemstone name really charming with a pretty vintage flair. She makes a refreshing first name choice very sweet.

[name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] ~ a romantic literacy choice that sounds really melodic and I like the nicknames [name_f]Annie[/name_f], [name_f]Anna[/name_f] & [name_f]Belle[/name_f]. I do prefer the more streamlined spelling of [name_f]Annabel[/name_f].

[name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] ~ a lovely classic option that is sweet, feminine and graceful. I do prefer [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] spelling wise.

[name_f]Bellarose[/name_f] ~ a very princessey girly girl name she’s sugary sweet with a sparkly sound personally I’m not overly keen on [name_f]Rose[/name_f] being a tag on name if that makes sense I live in area where kids always have hyphenated names that are something hyphen rose or smoosh names featuring rose for example Mia-Rose or Islarose so they are a little lacklustre.

Lillabelle ~ I think she’s pretty and looks visually attractive very melodic but is overloaded with L sound which makes her a bit of a mouthful and I’m not completely sure on the pronunciation.

[name_f]Hope[/name_f] this helps

Congratulations!

From fave to least:

[name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] – beautiful, elegant, great nicknames!
[name_f]Pearl[/name_f] – love this name as a first, but the PP initials give me pause! [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] would be lovely
[name_f]Theodora[/name_f] – more great nickname options! [name_f]Lovely[/name_f] name, but [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] is very trendy right now too
[name_f]Isabelle[/name_f]
[name_f]Bellarose[/name_f]
Lillabelle

[name_f]Theodora[/name_f]
[name_f]Annabelle[/name_f]
[name_f]Pearl[/name_f]
[name_f]Isabelle[/name_f]
Lillabelle
[name_f]Bellarose[/name_f]

1.Isabelle – very pretty, delicate, and elegant; my favorite of these, the only concern is the similar name [name_f]Isabella[/name_f] is extremely popular, but that may not be a problem for you.
2.Annabelle – also very pretty, and makes me think of ballet for some reason; the negative association with [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] is the doll (Annabelle, [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] Creation, [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] Comes Home, the Conjuring movies)
3.Pearl – very old fashioned, but stylish. I think it would be a nice middle name with [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] or [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f].

Tied:
[name_f]Theodora[/name_f], [name_f]Bellarose[/name_f], Lillabelle
[name_f]Bellarose[/name_f] and Lillabelle are definitely quite invented sounding, but they are both pretty, although I don’t think they’re as pretty as my favorites from your list. [name_f]Theodora[/name_f] is very classic and strong sounding, but there’s something a bit… stuck up? about it.
