Help Us Round Out Our List

Hey again! So my husband and I have come up with a really good list of names for when we start trying for kiddos. we just need a little help finishing It up and deciding what sounds best. Our last name sounds like Sisloh.

Here are our girls names-

[name]Cora[/name] [name]Annaliese[/name] - not quite loving [name]Annaliese[/name] paired with [name]Cora[/name]. We love [name]Cora[/name] so so much though
[name]Ivy[/name] [name]Louisa[/name]- this name melts my heart… She would be our little [name]Ivy[/name] [name]Lou[/name]. [name]Love[/name] love love it, don’t want to change it in any way!
[name]Lily[/name]- this name is a little plain for my taste compared to the others. But I still like it and my husband loves it, so we just need a good middle to pair it with.

We seem to lean towards nature names… Others that were on our list or that were suggested before are [name]Sage[/name], saffron, [name]June[/name], and rose as a middle (family name). My husband likes the nature influences and I like vintage names. He suggested [name]Ivy[/name], I suggested [name]Louisa[/name]… Naturey, vintage, the name has it all for us! We really don’t mean to have all the nature references though, and if we ever had two girls we would not want them to both have nature names (ie ivy and lily). So we would like all kinds of suggestions.

We like cute girly names but we are both very adventurey and outdoorsy so we’d love for it I work on a tomboy as well.

Is this too much information? Not even sure I’m making sense anymore lol

Boys list in progress (see boys names thread)
[name]Merrick[/name] [name]Liam[/name]
[name]Callen[/name] [name]Thomas[/name]
[name]McCoy[/name]
Zealand

Any and all suggestions welcome

Any thoughts?

[name]Ivy[/name] is my favorite girl’s name ever, and I love the pairing of [name]Ivy[/name] [name]Louisa[/name]! [name]Ivy[/name] [name]Lou[/name]!

Other suggestions to fit the nature/vintage theme:

[name]Laurel[/name] [name]Beatrice[/name]
[name]Dahlia[/name] [name]Josephine[/name]
[name]Flora[/name] [name]Margaret[/name]
[name]Violet[/name] [name]Eleanor[/name]

I love [name]Ivy[/name] [name]Louisa[/name]. My husband and I were thinking about [name]Hazel[/name] [name]Louise[/name], which is both nature-inspired and vintage.
I’m with you on [name]Cora[/name] [name]Annaliese[/name]… the mn doesn’t really do it for me. What about [name]Cora[/name] [name]Josephine[/name]. You could affectionately call her [name]Cora[/name] [name]Jo[/name]? I could see a [name]Cora[/name] [name]Jo[/name] being a sweet but tough little girl.
I agree with you also about [name]Lily[/name]. If you both love [name]Ivy[/name], I’d stick with [name]Ivy[/name] instead of [name]Lily[/name].

I love love [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Cora[/name] [name]Josephine[/name] and Nn [name]Cora[/name] [name]Jo[/name]. I mean, [name]Cora[/name] [name]Jo[/name] and [name]Ivy[/name] [name]Lou[/name]?! So cute! Husband however was already not totally loving the nn ivy [name]Lou[/name]. It took a bit of convincing to use [name]Louisa[/name]. I love it because of [name]Louisa[/name] may [name]Alcott[/name], and the vintage feel. But I got him to agree by reminding him that both of our grandmothers are named [name]Louise[/name]. But he is definitely not going for [name]Cora[/name] [name]Josephine[/name]. Which is sad :frowning:

For some reason I keep going back to R middle names for [name]Cora[/name]… [name]Cora[/name] [name]Rowan[/name] or [name]Cora[/name] [name]Rose[/name] (family name) but they just don’t sound right. Any other suggestions?

Ok I just had a revelation. I [name]LOVE[/name] the name [name]Lucy[/name] (I mean who couldn’t… Vintage, I love [name]Lucy[/name] reference, it’s sweet and soft and adorable!) not sure if hubby would go for it, but how cute is [name]Cora[/name] [name]Lucy[/name] or [name]Cora[/name] [name]Lucille[/name]? Then id have a [name]Cora[/name] [name]Lou[/name] and an [name]Ivy[/name] [name]Lou[/name]! What do you think?

I prefere [name]Ivy[/name] [name]Louise[/name]. You can still call her [name]Ivy[/name] [name]Lou[/name].
