I never realized that [name]Damian[/name] was a patron [name]Saint[/name] of twins, until you posted about it. It is a name hubby and I have considered using, but we were turned off of it because people tend to think [name]Damian[/name] is an evil name and associated with Satan. When hubby and I were telling people we were considering [name]Damian[/name] we got a lot of negative feed back. I still love the name and the Greek myth behind it though and if we have another boy I want to use [name]Damian[/name] or [name]Damon[/name]. Anyway, now I can tell people that he is a patron [name]Saint[/name] and maybe that will help get rid of people`s negative associations. Thanks!
[name]Felicity[/name] is by far my favourite of the girls names! [name]Felicity[/name] [name]Cosma[/name] would get my vote. [name]Linnea[/name] is already quite a strong sounding name so I think any combo’s such as [name]Linnea[/name] [name]Damienne[/name] / [name]Linnea[/name] [name]Cosma[/name] are too masculine.
[name]Felicity[/name] [name]Cosma[/name] & [name]Jude[/name] [name]Damien[/name] / [name]Everett[/name] [name]Damon[/name] / [name]Miles[/name] [name]Damien[/name] (love these boy combo’s)! You can’t go wrong with any of the boys names.
@uselesskitty-- [name]Cosmas[/name] & [name]Damian[/name] were twin brothers. They were called “mercenary physicians” (which I love!) because they aggressively treated the poor, the lepers and the outcast without asking for payment. This was completely unheard-of behavior at the time. There are many churches dedicated to them, but not many babies named after them, which is really too bad since both names are very cool.
I answered on your other thread, but I think [name]Felicity[/name] [name]Cosima[/name] is perfection. For your boys, [name]Everett[/name] & [name]Miles[/name] work well with [name]Damian[/name], whereas [name]Jude[/name] does not (as it ends with D). If you select [name]Jude[/name] for your boys’ name, I would pair it with [name]Cosmo[/name] / [name]Cosmas[/name] and give [name]Felicity[/name] either [name]Damiana[/name] or [name]Damienne[/name].
My overall vote: [name]Felicity[/name] [name]Cosima[/name] and [name]Miles[/name] [name]Damian[/name].
