Having a hard time coming up with the perfect name for our little one! Middle name will be [name_u]Spence[/name_u] (Please no suggestions to use [name_u]Spence[/name_u] as a first name, change to [name_u]Spencer[/name_u], etc. [name_u]Spence[/name_u] is the middle name, as-is - thanks!) [name_u]Everett[/name_u] has been at the top of our list for quite some time but for some reason I still have some type of unknown reservation about the name. This is partially because his family isn’t in love with it, partially my own hesitation which may only be cured with meeting the little guy.
Nevertheless, we’ve tentatively decided to look at a few other name options so that if nothing else, we have a list to bring to the hospital. However, DH is pretty hooked on [name_u]Everett[/name_u] [name_u]Spence[/name_u] though he also somewhat likes [name_u]Carter[/name_u], [name_u]Hunter[/name_u], [name_u]Kai[/name_u], and [name_u]Max[/name_u]. Maybe [name_m]Cohen[/name_m].
I’m still really, really torn. I [name_f]LOVE[/name_f] the names [name_m]Greyson[/name_m], [name_u]Owen[/name_u], and [name_m]Cole[/name_m] but are unable to use these names due to repeats in the family or with close friends, etc. Aside from my indecision or hesitancy of [name_u]Everett[/name_u], I would say [name_m]Cohen[/name_m] is next on my list. I am partial to simpler names or the idea of using a last name as a first name (i.e. [name_m]Anderson[/name_m], [name_m]Adler[/name_m], [name_m]Coleman[/name_m], etc.) but am having a hard time finding a name that has a good ring with “[name_u]Spence[/name_u]”! HELP! Any name suggestions along these lines would be helpful, or opinions on the following:
From your list I like [name_u]Everett[/name_u] [name_u]Spence[/name_u], [name_u]Hunter[/name_u] [name_u]Spence[/name_u], and [name_u]Hayden[/name_u] [name_u]Spence[/name_u]. [name_u]Hunter[/name_u] [name_u]Spence[/name_u] and [name_u]Hayden[/name_u] [name_u]Spence[/name_u] is my favorite of those.
The spelling [name_m]Koen[/name_m] ([name_m]Cohen[/name_m]) was in our top 5. We liked that it was a familiar name with a unique spelling. Also, how about [name_m]Kyler[/name_m] instead of [name_u]Kai[/name_u] (but I’m biased).
I think [name_u]Everett[/name_u] [name_u]Spence[/name_u] is adorable.
I personally like the name [name_m]Cohen[/name_m] and am not offended by it but if you seriously consider it for you son, you might want to research the [name_m]Cohen[/name_m] controversy. The name offends alot of people. There was just alot of activity with this name around here not long ago. You can read that post here.
