In the UK you receive a £1000 fine if you do not name your baby by 6 weeks.
We have until Tuesday to find a name for our third boy but we are still really struggling.
These are the names we both like -
Dashiell Cullis - Dash as a nickname
Bodey Cullis - Bo as a nickname
Tate Cullis
I like [name_m]Dashiell[/name_m] Cullis and [name_u]Tate[/name_u] Cullis. I would probably use [name_m]Bodhi[/name_m] instead of Bodey, nn [name_u]Bo[/name_u] is adorable
A vote for [name_u]Tate[/name_u]. I love that it’s known but not overly used, and nickname proof so that what you name him is what he’ll be called. All in all, a really nice name!
I really like at three names but agree with @kjh446 about spelling Bodey as [name_m]Bodhi[/name_m]. Writing Bodey on a resume seems to have a totally different feel as to writing [name_m]Bodhi[/name_m]. [name_m]Bodhi[/name_m] seems like an adult, Bodey seems very young. Also Bodey keeps auto correcting on my computer to body.
[name_m]Dashiell[/name_m], [name_m]Bodhi[/name_m] or [name_u]Tate[/name_u]. There are no losers in there. All great names. If your last name happens to start with a D, BCD would be cool initials.
I like [name_m]Dashiell[/name_m] nn [name_u]Dash[/name_u]. I also agree with other posters, I don’t like Bodey because it seems “young” and doesn’t sound like a real name, but I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_m]Bodhi[/name_m] (which is a beautiful tree and a symbol of enlightenment, pronounced the same way). So my vote would go to [name_m]Bodhi[/name_m] or [name_m]Dashiell[/name_m] :).
I love all three names, but I agree with the previous posters about Bodey - I much prefer the [name_m]Bodhi[/name_m] spelling.
But I would suggest [name_m]Boden[/name_m], with [name_u]Bo[/name_u] or Bodey as a nn. [name_m]Boden[/name_m] Cullis feels more complete to me than Bodey/[name_m]Bodhi[/name_m] Cullis.
I like Bodey then [name_m]Dashiell[/name_m]. I think the Bodey spelling is fine–it seems like a surname name, more conservative than [name_m]Bodhi[/name_m]. [name_u]Tate[/name_u] is a little too close to a few American slang words in my opinion.
I like them all! I think I would rank them [name_m]Dashiell[/name_m], [name_u]Tate[/name_u], and Bodey, just because I’m not too keen on the spelling of Bodey. I do like [name_m]Bodhi[/name_m] better, or even [name_m]Bodie[/name_m]? Or [name_m]Brodie[/name_m]? I love [name_u]Bo[/name_u], though–my go-to form is [name_m]Boaz[/name_m]. I would probably rank them [name_u]Bo[/name_u], [name_u]Dash[/name_u], and [name_u]Tate[/name_u] by the nns, though.
