HELP!! Which Name To Choose

Hey Everyone!

I am trying to finalize a name for my baby girl. We already have the name [name_m]Romeo[/name_m] [name_m]Brooks[/name_m] picked out for her twin brother. Also, what are your thoughts on [name_m]Romeo[/name_m], any suggestions if you’re not a fan? My style of names is very different so if you love, like or dislike please give me your imput. We are between four names for his twin sister.

Please leave middle name suggestions, but the names are

[name_f]Elle[/name_f]
[name_u]Channing[/name_u] - We could get passed the [name_u]Tatum[/name_u] thing and think it is fit for a girl
[name_u]Bellamy[/name_u]
[name_u]Neriah[/name_u] - [name_u]Brooke[/name_u] [name_m]Burke[/name_m] (idk if you know who that is) chose this name for her daughter

Which one would you choose? And please rank them in your opinion best to worst

Would really appreciate the feedback!! Thanks!!

I dislike [name_m]Romeo[/name_m]. I like [name_m]Roman[/name_m], [name_m]Mateo[/name_m], and [name_u]Theo[/name_u] for a boy which all are similar, but can’t quite get past the [name_m]Shakespeare[/name_m] connection with [name_m]Romeo[/name_m]. I also really love [name_f]Romilly[/name_f] for a girl so I personally would use that for a girl before I used [name_m]Romeo[/name_m] for a boy.

I don’t think any of your girl choices go well with [name_m]Romeo[/name_m] either (sorry!)
Rank wise, I’d say:
[name_u]Bellamy[/name_u]
[name_f]Elle[/name_f]
[name_u]Channing[/name_u]
[name_u]Neriah[/name_u]

I like [name_u]Bellamy[/name_u] the most and you could nn her [name_f]Elle[/name_f] if you wanted. [name_u]Channing[/name_u] is all boy to me and [name_u]Neriah[/name_u] is nms.

[name_m]Romeo[/name_m] is so dashing! I feel like [name_u]Neriah[/name_u] actually complements it best, as it’s about the same length and quite vowelly, yet still sounding distinctive. I think [name_u]Bellamy[/name_u] would work quite well for the same reason. [name_f]Elle[/name_f] is my favorite name from your list actually, but it feels a little “small” next to [name_m]Romeo[/name_m]. If somebody introduced their children named [name_u]Channing[/name_u] and [name_m]Romeo[/name_m], I’d assume they were both boys.

[name_u]Neriah[/name_u] & [name_u]Bellamy[/name_u] (I think using [name_f]Elle[/name_f] as a nickname is a great idea!) are my favorites, especially with [name_m]Romeo[/name_m]. Good luck

You have a thing for celebrity names, huh?

[name_m]Brooks[/name_m] is the only name I like from your list.

To be honest I don’t think any of your choices go very well with [name_m]Romeo[/name_m]. I’m also not wild about a twin boy named [name_m]Romeo[/name_m] because every person you meet will say “oh, is his sister’s name [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]?” ([name_m]Even[/name_m] though that’s kind of creepy, people see a boy/girl pair with a [name_m]Romeo[/name_m] and they’ll automatically think of that.) But I suppose without the [name_m]Shakespeare[/name_m] connection it’s a good name.

I think of your choices, I like [name_u]Neriah[/name_u] with [name_m]Romeo[/name_m] the best. I like that they’re both 3 syllables and the boldness of [name_u]Neriah[/name_u] feels compatible with [name_m]Romeo[/name_m]. I think with boy/girl twins it’s a good idea to have an obviously feminine name for the girl, but that may just be me. I like [name_f]Elle[/name_f], but not with [name_m]Romeo[/name_m]. [name_u]Bellamy[/name_u] is fine. Here’s how I’d rank them:

[name_u]Neriah[/name_u]
[name_u]Bellamy[/name_u]
[name_f]Elle[/name_f]
[name_u]Channing[/name_u] (I just really dislike this)

I also agree with the previous poster that [name_f]Elle[/name_f] could work as a nickname for [name_u]Bellamy[/name_u].

While I’ve always liked [name_u]Bellamy[/name_u] for a boy, it’s a great name for anyone and I think it sounds so nice with [name_m]Romeo[/name_m].

I don’t dislike [name_u]Channing[/name_u] either, but almost like it better for a middle name in this case? [name_f]Elle[/name_f] [name_u]Channing[/name_u] or sounds cute to me.

[name_u]Bellamy[/name_u] is still my favorite partnered with brother [name_m]Romeo[/name_m] by far. And [name_f]Elle[/name_f] would work perfectly as a nickname.

[name_m]Romeo[/name_m] is definitely bold. I think it’s usable but the [name_m]Shakespeare[/name_m] connection is very strong, and it is even used as a noun to mean a romantic male. I think [name_m]Raphael[/name_m]/[name_m]Rafael[/name_m] is similar but a little more wearable. I also like [name_m]Mateo[/name_m]. For girls I like [name_f]Elle[/name_f] best. [name_u]Neriah[/name_u] is OK too but I prefer when the name has a bit more history of use. The others seem like surnames to me. I’ll suggest [name_f]Bella[/name_f] instead of [name_u]Bellamy[/name_u] which goes well with [name_m]Raphael[/name_m] or [name_m]Romeo[/name_m].
