DH and I are struggling to find a name for our 3rd girl due in a week. My other DDs names came easily, [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] [name_f]Joy[/name_f] and [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] [name_f]Noelle[/name_f]. As much as I love names that end in -a, I seem drawn to surnames as FN for girls. Our LN is pronounced NI-bee so it knocks out a lot of name that end in -y like [name_u]Finley[/name_u]. Here is what we have so far but I’ll take any suggestions!
[name_u]Arden[/name_u] [name_u]Reece[/name_u]
[name_u]Arden[/name_u] [name_f]Rebecca[/name_f]
[name_u]Arden[/name_u] [name_f]Peach[/name_f]
[name_u]Harper[/name_u] [name_u]June[/name_u] ([name_u]Harper[/name_u] might be too popular)
[name_u]Harper[/name_u] [name_u]Reece[/name_u]
[name_u]Bailey[/name_u] [name_u]June[/name_u] (sounds funny with LN?)
[name_u]Bailey[/name_u] [name_f]Elise[/name_f]
All the names that you have listed here are very unisex, but [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] and [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] are decidedly feminine (and beautiful). Might I suggest some names that I think might ‘go’ better?
[name_f]Elise[/name_f] - I see you have it as a mn - it’s gorgeous
[name_f]Maya[/name_f]
[name_f]Phoebe[/name_f]
[name_f]Elena[/name_f]
[name_f]Camille[/name_f]
[name_f]Ivy[/name_f]
[name_f]Fiona[/name_f]
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f]
[name_f]Cora[/name_f]
[name_f]Gabrielle[/name_f]
Best of luck!
From your list my favorite is [name_u]Arden[/name_u] [name_f]Rebecca[/name_f], it’s unisex but most people won’t have heard the name before and will probably associate it more strongly with your baby girl than a gender. And I like that the combo has a definite and familiar feminine middle name.
Some other combos that might work with [name_u]Arden[/name_u]…
