Hi, have a little boy due in 3 weeks and I’m pretty set on calling him Atticus, but I want to double barrel it as my daughter is called Thea-Lyn. I’m not sure what goes with it tho!
I was thinking Atticus-Kai maybe?
Just wondered what anyone else thought of them together and any ideas of other names people might have please?

I love the name [name_m]Atticus[/name_m]! [name_m]Atticus[/name_m] and [name_f]Thea[/name_f] is a cute sibset. [name_m]Atticus[/name_m]-[name_u]Kai[/name_u] is cute and flows well.
For other suggestions how about [name_m]Atticus[/name_m]-[name_m]Leo[/name_m] or [name_m]Atticus[/name_m]-[name_u]Jay[/name_u]?
The S on the end of [name_m]Atticus[/name_m] makes it sound Attica-[name_u]Sky[/name_u] to me, so I’m not personally crazy about it. I do like the name [name_u]Kai[/name_u] but I also don’t really feel like it fits in with your other names, which are all very southern to me.

I mainly thought [name_u]Kai[/name_u] as the dad doesn’t like [name_m]Atticus[/name_m] at all (my second choice was [name_u]Reagan[/name_u] or [name_m]Atticus[/name_m]-[name_u]Reagan[/name_u] but he doesn’t like that either, and I’m now saving [name_u]Reagan[/name_u] for a future name.) , but I wanted a name he could use instead of [name_m]Atticus[/name_m], he’s not having any contact right now but if he does ever sort himself out I want to be fair and have something he can use if he never comes round to liking it. The only names he ever really liked were [name_m]Akiro[/name_m] and [name_m]Malaki[/name_m] (ma-la-kye) so I only thought of [name_u]Kai[/name_u] as both his names have that sound. I do like [name_m]Akiro[/name_m] and maybe it would be fairer to use a name we both like but given the situation and the chances of him actually changing I think I’m rightful to use the name my heart wants and still have consideration for him in a way with the second?
