Hello! I’m [name]Alison[/name] and I’m a bit new here. I’m due to have a second girl in early [name]June[/name], which makes it even with 2 boys and 2 girls. Our other three children are named [name]Holden[/name] [name]Tennyson[/name], [name]Hazel[/name] [name]Scarlett[/name], and [name]Augustus[/name] [name]Cole[/name] (who usually goes by [name]August[/name] or Auggie). Now the question is… what to name #4?
I tend to like classic names that don’t sound too old. Girl names we’ve considered are:
[name]Lucy[/name] (possibly short for [name]Lucille[/name])
[name]Sophia[/name] (although we don’t like the popularity)
[name]Willa[/name]
[name]Hattie[/name] (but I don’t like the idea of 3 siblings that start with the same letter & 1 that doesn’t…)
[name]Etta[/name] [name]June[/name] (though I wonder if this combo is too dated).
What do you think of those? Also, do you you have any suggestions?
I love [name]Lucy[/name]. I also like the idea of having a second “A” name, like:
[name]Aurora[/name] ([name]Lucille[/name])
[name]Alice[/name]
[name]Anastasia[/name] (love this with [name]Augustus[/name])

My favorites are [name]Lucy[/name] and [name]Willa[/name], I love them both. They both would sound great in the sibset, too! I think [name]Lucille[/name] is nice, but [name]Lucy[/name] is great on is own, too.
I love the A suggestions, too – [name]Alice[/name] or [name]Annora[/name] are my faves.
Ooh, I really like the suggestion of [name]Adelaide[/name]! What about [name]Lucy[/name] [name]Adelaide[/name]? And would [name]Willa[/name] [name]June[/name] work?
I really like [name]Lucy[/name] [name]Adelaide[/name]. [name]Willa[/name] [name]June[/name] works too but isn’t as pretty as [name]Lucy[/name] [name]Adelaide[/name]
I like [name]Lucille[/name] with the nn [name]Lucy[/name] and [name]Etta[/name] [name]June[/name] the best from your choice. I think either would work well with your other children’s names. (Personally, I love the idea of [name]Lucille[/name] [name]Etta[/name] [name]June[/name]).

[name]Sophia[/name]: It’s a stunning name, but it would feel a little bland when comparing it your other children. However, something like [name]Lucille[/name] [name]Sophia[/name] is beautiful if [name]Sophia[/name] has meaning to you.
[name]Willa[/name]: This name is okay but I just happen to like your other choices better.
[name]Hattie[/name]: I would scrap this one for the same reason that you mentioned. I knew a family that had all L names for their children (unplanned — think [name]Layla[/name], [name]Lacey[/name], [name]Lucas[/name], [name]Laura[/name]) and one daughter named [name]Hannah[/name] (And she was the middle children. She said it always made her feel like she was adopted or something.)

First of all, let me say that I just adore your naming style. They’re seriously all on my list
Anyway, I’d go with [name]Etta[/name] [name]June[/name]! [name]Etta[/name] is a name I’ve really been loving lately and I kind of look at it as an update on the over-popular [name]Ella[/name] and [name]Emma[/name]. Absolutely adorable
I love [name]Lucy[/name] as well, but [name]Etta[/name] would definitely be more unique.
I’d probably go with [name]Lucille[/name] [name]June[/name] or [name]Lucille[/name] [name]Sophia[/name].
I love [name]Lucille[/name] nn [name]Lucy[/name]. It always reminds me of the spunky, successful and just all around fabulous [name]Lucille[/name] Ball.

I agree with previous posters that, while certainly not necessary, it might be cool to balance things out by using another A name for this baby. Perhaps you would consider [name]Antonia[/name]? I think [name]Antonia[/name] and [name]Hazel[/name] are really nice together!
