I’m a trans man (known it for years now) & I’m trying to figure out what my full name will be. A few close friends that I’ve told already refer to me as [name_m]Oliver[/name_m], and it’s definitely what I’ll be making my first name. I’m just stuck on the middle.
My last name is similar to Deaton. I’m avoiding middles that start with L or C because of the unfortunate initials.
I’ve been stuck on [name_m]Milo[/name_m] for awhile now, but my sister hates it for some reason, and wants me to go with [name_u]Beau[/name_u], another name on my list.
I’ve also considered [name_m]Alexander[/name_m], and related names like [name_m]Alistair[/name_m] & [name_m]Xavier[/name_m], but they may be a bit too rhyme-y?
Yea I agree other er names do rhyme but you’ve though through this well, I would really try and say the ones you’ve considered full a lot, sometimes with middle names they are fun because you can choose a name with a special meaning or connection to the past that you want to hold on to. I hope you find something you love soon, its hard to make suggestions because I do think you as an adult will be the one with the name so its tough… [name_m]Milo[/name_m] and beau both end with that sound, if that’s what you think you like that might help, but beau and [name_m]Milo[/name_m] and [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] are so different in so many ways. [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] is very classic and very timeless, beau I don’t love with it for some reason but [name_m]Milo[/name_m] doesn’t really fir into the same category as [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] so that’s kinda tough…
I think [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] [name_m]Milo[/name_m] is lovely! This is your name, remember that. If you like [name_m]Milo[/name_m], go with [name_m]Milo[/name_m]. [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] [name_u]Beau[/name_u] is okay, but in my opinion doesn’t flow as well.
