[name_f]My[/name_f] children are [name_m]Callister[/name_m] [name_u]Everett[/name_u] (5 years old) and Islington [name_m]Yorke[/name_m] (3 years old) and I am pregnant with another girl due in [name_f]May[/name_f].
I need help with a last name and I am open to suggestions.
[name_f]Do[/name_f] you like any of these sibsets? I am trying to honor a family member with the middle name [name_u]Daly[/name_u] if possible
From your list, my favorites are [name_u]Laiken[/name_u] (I slightly prefer [name_u]Laken[/name_u]!) and Mabley! [name_f]My[/name_f] first suggestion was going to be [name_u]Bellamy[/name_u], but I don’t love that with [name_u]Daly[/name_u]. So maybe…
All of the options fit your sibset, except Mabeline. Your other 2 feel so distinct and refreshing, while this one feels too close to the makeup brand, for me.
My personal favorite is Lochlyn [name_u]Daly[/name_u].
I think Whittier sounds really cool with your other kids names. I also like Mabley McCole [name_u]Daly[/name_u]. [name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_u]Daly[/name_u] as the middle name. [name_f]My[/name_f] personal favorites are Mabeline or Mabley (Maebly? or [name_f]Maybeline[/name_f]?).
I don’t have any great suggestions, but I respect that your style is unique without being trendy. I think Lochlyn, [name_u]Laiken[/name_u], Grayston, Laicley & maybe Breckyn all seem a little too trendy and detract from the uniqueness of the names.
You might like the name [name_u]Leighton[/name_u]. I really like it but it doesn’t go with our other daughters name so we decided not to use it. [name_u]Leighton[/name_u] [name_u]Saige[/name_u] was on our list.
[name_f]Do[/name_f] you already have a girl? I assumed your older kids were boys, but I see you said “another girl.”
Assuming that differentiating boy & girl names isn’t important to you, my favorites from your list are Whittyn and Whittier (I also love [name_u]Whitley[/name_u] and [name_m]Whitaker[/name_m]!). I’m not a fan of any of the double-barreled McCole FNs. A name like [name_m]Stafford[/name_m]-McCole or [name_m]Ford[/name_m]-McCole sounds more like a law firm than a given name to me. McCole [name_u]Daly[/name_u] would be a fine combo on its own.
Other ideas… [name_u]Winslow[/name_u], [name_u]Romilly[/name_u], [name_u]Abilene[/name_u], [name_u]Rivers[/name_u], [name_u]Pascoe[/name_u]. You actually might like a lot of the ideas in this week’s Nameberry blog post: Last Names for Boys: Cool and Fresh Choices | Nameberry
Really loving the Lochlyn [name_u]Daly[/name_u] combo and it goes well with the siblings. [name_u]Laiken[/name_u] [name_m]Cole[/name_m] would also be awesome.
From your list I like …
Lochlyn [name_u]Daly[/name_u]
Whittier McCole
I like the suggested idea of [name_u]Thayer[/name_u]. To that I will add…
[name_u]Alden[/name_u]
[name_u]Willoughby[/name_u]
C@llister E.verett, I.slington Y0rke and Will0ughby [name_u]Daly[/name_u] or McCole
(I like that all the first names have the letter L in them and are three syllables.)
I think I like Mabley the best from your list, although I would probably spell it Maebly. I also like the suggestions of [name_u]Leighton[/name_u] and [name_u]Tiernan[/name_u] up thread. [name_u]Tierney[/name_u] might also be an option.
