So I have a short list of the names we are thinking of using…
[name_m]Andrew[/name_m]
[name_u]Carter[/name_u]
[name_m]Clayton[/name_m]/[name_m]Clay[/name_m]
[name_u]Elliott[/name_u]
[name_m]Harrison[/name_m]
[name_m]Henry[/name_m]
[name_u]Hudson[/name_u]
[name_m]Nolan[/name_m]
[name_m]Oliver[/name_m]
[name_m]Edward[/name_m] or [name_m]David[/name_m] as middle name but open to suggestions
Last name begins with B and 3 syllables
some of these I feel are trendy but are still good names ([name_f]IMO[/name_f])
Right now we are leaning towards [name_m]Clayton[/name_m] because it sounds modern but is a old name, sounds strong and not super trendy but I feel like its poised to become more popular very soon.
Thoughts, ideas, suggestions of other names? Thanks.
my favorites on your list are [name_m]Oliver[/name_m], [name_m]Nolan[/name_m], and [name_u]Elliot[/name_u]. [name_m]Henry[/name_m] is great but popular right now; [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] is too bland; and [name_u]Carter[/name_u] and [name_m]Harrison[/name_m] are too surname-y for my taste. Also your last name is 3 syllables, so [name_m]Harrison[/name_m] feels too long to me.
A few other ideas: [name_m]Holden[/name_m], [name_m]Desmond[/name_m], [name_m]Archer[/name_m], [name_u]Owen[/name_u], [name_u]Spencer[/name_u], [name_u]Everett[/name_u], [name_m]Harvey[/name_m].
All that said, [name_m]Clayton[/name_m] is a solid name, and [name_m]Clayton[/name_m] [name_m]Edward[/name_m] sounds great!
I love Elliott, Hudson, Oliver and understand that they are a bit trendy but they are great names.
I second [name_m]Cole[/name_m], [name_m]Holden[/name_m], [name_u]Spencer[/name_u] and would add [name_m]Brock[/name_m], [name_u]Cody[/name_u], [name_u]Corey[/name_u], [name_m]Garrett[/name_m], [name_m]Tanner[/name_m].
[name_m]Clayton[/name_m] is a great modern strong name, just NMS.
[name_m]Andrew[/name_m]- to me this is a classic and it will always be popular becasue of that! But a great name!
[name_u]Carter[/name_u]- To me this is trendy not classic. It’s ok but im not a huge fan
[name_m]Clayton[/name_m]/[name_m]Clay[/name_m]- I like this! I think its not common but not crazy and not trendy! a modern classic if you will!
[name_u]Elliott[/name_u]- I like it! I think of E.T… getting popular but not bad
[name_m]Harrison[/name_m]- I grew up with a harrison! I likee it
[name_m]Henry[/name_m]- SAme as andrew
[name_u]Hudson[/name_u]- Its ok… not a huge fan!
[name_m]Nolan[/name_m]- A modern classic like clayton to me!
[name_m]Oliver[/name_m]- TOO popular for me and im not a huge fan since ive heard it toooo much now!
My faves for you are [name_m]Clayton[/name_m] and [name_m]Nolan[/name_m]! Modern classics!
My favourite here is [name_m]Oliver[/name_m]; the only [name_m]Clayton[/name_m] I’ve ever heard of is the villain in [name_m]Tarzan[/name_m]. Along with [name_f]Ursula[/name_f] and Maleficent, I don’t think you’ll be seeing it make the top ten name lists any time soon.
[name_m]Edward[/name_m] has been tainted permanently by the Twilight series, for me; [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] [name_m]David[/name_m] is a good, solid pairing.
I know a 3 yr old [name_m]Clay[/name_m], so it is definitly wearable on a little boy. I love [name_m]Nolan[/name_m] too! [name_m]Edward[/name_m] in the middle spot sounds very gentlemanly to me.
What a fantastic list you have! It’s funny, because [name_m]Clayton[/name_m]/[name_m]Clay[/name_m] jumped out at me right away. We have a friend with a little [name_m]Clay[/name_m] and he is adorable. My favorites are;
