Still trying to narrow down baby girl names. I’m 37 weeks and would like to have a few less options going into the hospital, haha. It’s been challenging. I like down to earth and timeless names, but I also like something a little unexpected and fresh sounding too!
We like the thought of using Marlowe as a middle name because the meaning is special to us, but it doesn’t go well with all of our favorite first names. Here’s our big list of potentials, I would appreciate any input or new suggestions! Thanks

I love your list! I think my very favorite is [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u]. [name_f]Jane[/name_f] strikes me as both timeless and unexpected because it’s so underused as a first name now. And I love the pleasing aesthetic contrast of classic [name_f]Jane[/name_f] with a soft surname middle like [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u].

I love Jane Marlowe - straight out of a classic novel! I wish it could be Jane-Marlowe as I want to say them together. Meg or Hope goes with Marlowe too. I also like Hope Caroline. I like the name Isla but it’s less interesting to me right now than Jane, Meg or Hope. Probably Isla Jane but not sure…

I agree that the flow is off on quite a few of these with [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u]. I love your timeless/vintage style, and I like the idea of [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u] since it has great meaning for you. I guess [name_f]Isla[/name_f] [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u] has the best flow, and it’s certainly beautiful. It does lack the timelessness, though.
