Help with baby girl name

Need some help in deciding the spelling and order of middle names!
We love the name Margot but can’t decide on the spelling as Margot or Margaux? Also any thoughts on the following order of names? We want two middle names the same as our other daughter .
Margot/Margaux Arabella Rosie
Margot/Margaux Rosie Bella
I feel more drawn to Arabella Rosie as the middle name, but I’ve gone over it so much in my head I just can’t decide!. The reason for Rosie is because our 2yr old kept calling her Rosie even before she was born so felt it was a sweet nod to her input

New idea after feedback!
Margaux Belle Rosie ?

[name_f]Margot[/name_f] would be my pick from your options though personally my favorite spelling is the streamlined [name_f]Margo[/name_f].

[name_f]Margo[/name_f] [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] has the best flow!

I prefer [name_f]Margot[/name_f] - it just looks more concise to me.

[name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] is so elegant and lovely

margot arabella rosie sounds the best imo!

I like [name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] [name_u]Rose[/name_u] the best.

Some other suggestions:

[name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Bellerose[/name_f]
[name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Rosabelle[/name_f]
[name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_u]Rose[/name_u] [name_f]Arabelle[/name_f]

[name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] [name_u]Rose[/name_u] (stunning!) but otherwise with [name_f]Rosie[/name_f].

[name_f]Margaux[/name_f] is elegant but is very busy and will likely trip people.

[name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Belle[/name_f] [name_u]Rose[/name_u] / [name_f]Bellerose[/name_f] is beautiful too. It’s a lovely, tailored name.

(I find “Rosie Bella” a bit too cutesy and somehow gives me some sort of rash on a belly / skin problem.)

Thank you for the lovely ideas and feedback!
I agree, [name_f]Margaux[/name_f] is a bit busy and wouldn’t work so well within [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] either.
Maybe [name_f]Margaux[/name_f] [name_f]Belle[/name_f] [name_f]Rosie[/name_f]?

Also agree about the [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] [name_f]Bella[/name_f] thoughts

Thank you so much for these lovely ideas! Gives me something else to consider

[name_f]Glad[/name_f] my feedback taken in right spirit - tricky over internet. I think [name_f]Margaux[/name_f] [name_f]Belle[/name_f] [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] is lovely :rose: (though maybe bc the last name not included, still feels a teeny bit like a list of names to me).

Otherwise, to give some other ideas:

[name_f]Margaux[/name_f] [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] [name_u]Camille[/name_u]
[name_f]Margaux[/name_f] [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] [name_f]Estelle[/name_f]
[name_f]Margaux[/name_f] [name_f]Tilda[/name_f] [name_f]Rosie[/name_f]
[name_f]Margaux[/name_f] [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] Loren/Lauren (depending on which pronunciation flows best)
[name_f]Margaux[/name_f] [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] [name_u]Anne[/name_u]
[name_f]Margaux[/name_f] [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] [name_f]Matilda[/name_f]
[name_f]Margaux[/name_f] [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] [name_f]Elspeth[/name_f]

I’d choose [name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] [name_u]Rose[/name_u].

I feel [name_u]Rose[/name_u] works much better than [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] and still takes into consideration your daughter’s fixation with the name [name_f]Rosie[/name_f].

[name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] [name_u]Rose[/name_u] or [name_f]Margaux[/name_f] [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] would be great!

Thank you for these  our 2yr old daughter is called [name_f]Matilda[/name_f]! Also her middle name is Lyllie [name_u]Rose[/name_u] ( named after two grandparents)
So I don’t think I could use [name_u]Rose[/name_u] again. It’s so hard finding middle names that match I find. The other idea I had was [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] …

I prefer it with [name_u]Rose[/name_u] too! But my other daughter [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] is Lyllie [name_u]Rose[/name_u] after her grandparents names. If I knew I was having 2 girls I would have held back on one of them! :joy:

I would either use Rose as a lovely way to connect the two girls (I have a couple of friends who have the same middle as their systems - and actually my brother’s two daughters share Rose as one of their middles) or not use it at all (ie no Rosie). I think it makes more sense to use Rose intentionally to connect them (and to honour again and because your daughter loves Rosie) than Rosie itself which to me is too close without being the exact name - so somewhat defeating purpose(s).

Having said that, Margaux Belle Rose (another option you had, using Rosie/Rose) is too close a match to M@tilda Lillie Rose for me - they’re very similar (which is sweet and maybe what you want but could be too much of a pattern esp if intend to have more children?).

As for Grace (Margaux Arabella Grace), to me it’s R heavy with Margaux and Arabella but it does flow and it’s a lovely name to include given its meaning. I still prefer Rose with this combo, but if you’re off Rose, I would hold Grace as a back up and think about another honour name so the girls both have at least one (not one with two and one ritual none)? If not, maybe test out the combination with Jane, June, Pearl (but double meaning, maybe not with Margaux), Fleur, Fern, May, Maeve, Roux/Rue, Claire in that second middle spot.

Finally, as very much take or leave if you’re likely having more than two kids (same letter for two kids can be sweet but then it starts to get too themey for me), what about Arabella in first spot (to mix up the M letters)? Or Grace? Or even Rose itself (I love Rose as a first - but you could use Rosemary for eg if want longer)? I think it also comes down to nicknames too, Margaux gives Meg, Maggie, Peggie, Marg etc (if can’t just insist on Margaux) - I love Peggie! - so wouldn’t change if these are the nicknames you prefer, and all said with the recognition that Margaux is a warm and sophisticated name (that will age and adapt very well!). Just a thought.

Thank you so much for your advice and thoughts. I’m definitely leaning more towards [name_u]Rose[/name_u] now . I hadn’t thought about them sharing the exact middle name but you’re right , it’s a lovely idea.
[name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] [name_u]Rose[/name_u] :rose:
We also don’t plan on having anymore children either so won’t need to worry about anymore names :slightly_smiling_face:

You might consider ……
M@tilda Lylli3 Ro$e and……
Margaux* [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] [name_u]Rose[/name_u] or [name_f]Margaux[/name_f] [name_f]Annabel[/name_f] [name_u]Rose[/name_u]

This way they have the same syllable count, the new name is not so heavy with the R sound and the two middle names, Lylli3 and [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] or [name_f]Annabel[/name_f] share the letter L. All make for nice cohesion between the names.

  • or [name_f]Margot[/name_f]

I would spell [name_f]Margaux[/name_f] this way so it has the same number of letters as [name_f]Matilda[/name_f]. And [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] or [name_f]Anabel[/name_f] with six letters, because Lylli3 has six letters.
