Help with baby girl, we are having twins

My husband and I are having twins. We have decided on a boy’s name, it will be [name]Carter[/name] [name]Charles[/name]. However, I am struggling with the baby girl’s name. We were all for [name]Lola[/name] for most of my pregnancy, but suddenly I am feeling a little worried about all the weird connotations. A friend suggested [name]Elena[/name]…which I like (pronounced [name]Ah[/name]-lena), but I’m wondering if the spelling will be confusing. I’m open to any ideas. The only thing we would like to stay away from is another C name for a girl.

I love both [name]Lola[/name] and [name]Elena[/name] with [name]Carter[/name]! Sorry, I’m still confused about [name]Elena[/name]. Are you saying it eh-[name]LEE[/name]-nah or eh-[name]LAY[/name]-nah? eh-[name]LAY[/name]-nah is the more traditional spelling… maybe try [name]Elina[/name] if you like the [name]LEE[/name]-nah ending? Either would be lovely with [name]Carter[/name] [name]Charles[/name], though.

What about [name]Lola[/name] [name]Caroline[/name] or [name]Elena[/name]/[name]Elina[/name] [name]Juliet[/name]?

Good luck!

I think [name]Carter[/name] [name]Charles[/name] has the current/traditional thing going on. If you want to do the same thing for your girl, then here are some combos I like:

[name]Kelsey[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name]
[name]Allegra[/name] [name]Grace[/name]
[name]Scarlett[/name] [name]Isabel[/name]
[name]Stella[/name] [name]Marie[/name]

[name]Elena[/name] is just okay for me personally. If you want to avoid mis-spellings, go with [name]Alena[/name] (I know someone with this spelling). You can use the nickname [name]Ali[/name] or [name]Lena[/name], and for some reason I just prefer this spelling.

I guess it would more accurately be Eh-lay-nah.

[name]Love[/name] [name]Elena[/name] & [name]Carter[/name]!

[name]Love[/name] [name]Elena[/name] with [name]Carter[/name]. Not a fan of [name]Lola[/name] because I think of [name]Lolita[/name].

[name]Elena[/name] is lovely with [name]Carter[/name]. [name]Lola[/name] is a showgirl!

[name]How[/name] about:
[name]Elena[/name] [name]Wren[/name]
[name]Elena[/name] [name]Maeve[/name]
[name]Elena[/name] [name]Quinn[/name]

My first thought was [name]Eleanor[/name]. You could actually probably get ‘[name]Lola[/name]’ as nn out of it as well.

Another name with the possible NN [name]Lola[/name] is [name]Eloise[/name]! Or is it just me?
[name]Elena[/name] is beautiful, three combos I like are:
[name]Elena[/name] [name]Rose[/name]
[name]Elena[/name] [name]Annalise[/name]
[name]Elena[/name] [name]Magdalene[/name]

Good luck!

Also, if you like [name]Lola[/name], what about [name]Lela[/name] (pr. ‘[name]Lee[/name]-luh’)? And of course there’s [name]Lila[/name], [name]Leila[/name]/[name]Layla[/name], [name]Lina[/name], etc…
I think [name]Carter[/name] & [name]Layla[/name] would make an adorable twin-set!!
