Debating on baby girl names. I want to pass down my middle name as it was passed down from my mom and her father (who passed away when my mother was young). It’s been a tradition for the first born child to have the middle name Lynn. My issue is that I really like the name Layla. But I am not sure that I like the way Layla Lynn sounds. If I chose to not do Layla, I was thinking about going with Rosalie Lynn. But I know that I will be a little sad about not using Layla first. How bad does Layla Lynn sound?
i honestly don’t think it’s too much of an issue, especially since lynn has a lot of meaning for you
layla lynn is very sweet!
I actually really like [name_f]Layla[/name_f] [name_u]Lynn[/name_u] and I don’t think it’s too much
Layla Lynn is very sweet! The alliteration has a melodic quality and I love that it’s a family name. If you would feel sad about not using Layla, I definitely think you should go for it!
[name_f]Layla[/name_f] [name_u]Lynn[/name_u] is really sweet actually, I like the ring it has to it.
I honestly like the sound of [name_f]Layla[/name_f] [name_u]Lynn[/name_u] more than [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] [name_u]Lynn[/name_u] (because of the repetitive “Lee”)
Absolutely use [name_f]Layla[/name_f] [name_u]Lynn[/name_u]! It’s very charming. The meaning behind the name will mean much to you, your family, and your daughter.
[name_m]Hi[/name_m] there.
I agree that [name_f]Layla[/name_f] [name_u]Lynn[/name_u] isn’t perfect. It’s a bit of a tongue twister to say out loud. That being said; I’d go for it anyway. It’s a special meaningful name, & it doesn’t sound that terrible at all. I do personally find [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] a nicer name than [name_f]Layla[/name_f], but you seem to love [name_f]Layla[/name_f] more. [name_f]Layla[/name_f] [name_u]Lynn[/name_u] is just fine!
[name_f]Hope[/name_f] this helps.
[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Layla[/name_f] [name_u]Lynn[/name_u]! Very sweet
