help with boy names.....shortlist of 4!!!???

hi everyone,
we haven’t found out the gender of our soon to be baby, so trying to decide on a name is hard work, we’ve agreed on a girls name…(jury is still out on a middle name), but still cant decide on a boys name??

so far our 4 shortlisted names are:

[name]Noah[/name]
[name]Donovan[/name] (changed the name to the correct spelling…was half asleep)
[name]Sonny[/name]
[name]Jefferson[/name]

what are your thoughts on these names? which do you like the best/least?

your thoughts/opinions would be great…as OH is useless!!

 xxx

[name]Noah[/name] - I like this one the best, but its very popular which may or may not bother you
[name]Donavon[/name] - I would spell this as [name]Donovan[/name] because that is the more standard spelling or else he will get it misspelled all the time. NMS
[name]Jefferson[/name] - I like this one, nice choice if you want something less popular
[name]Sonny[/name] - too nicknamey, can’t see this on an adult.

The one I really love from your list is [name]Noah[/name]. Handsome and clever on a boy. The others are nms to me, sorry.

[name]Noah[/name] - I love this name! It is popular but deservedly so.
[name]Donavon[/name] - I love the name but spelling it [name]Donovan[/name] will help prevent confusion.
[name]Sonny[/name] - Only as a nickname for something
[name]Jefferson[/name] - [name]Jefferson[/name] (nn [name]Sonny[/name]) let’s you have two for the price of one and [name]Jefferson[/name] is very cool.

[name]Noah[/name] is the only one I like.

[name]Donovon[/name] is spelled oddly. Should be [name]Donovan[/name]?? Otherwise looks like don oh [name]Vaughn[/name]

[name]Sonny[/name]. No way. Very feminine, [name]IMO[/name] , [name]Sunday[/name]: cute girls name. [name]Sonny[/name]: not. A. [name]Fan[/name].

[name]Jefferson[/name]- cute but he will always get [name]Jeff[/name] I think. If you don’t like that then use something else

I agree that [name]Noah[/name] is the only one I like from your list.

I guess I am in the minority when I say that [name]Sonny[/name] is my favourite. It feels very cool, vintage and unique. I have never thought of [name]Sonny[/name] as feminine.
My second favourite would probably be [name]Noah[/name] just because it’s a great name. It’s extremely popular where I live though, which would bother me a bit, but if it doesn’t bother you thats great!
Good luck!

[name]Noah[/name]–strong, classic
[name]Donavon[/name]–ok…Irish (a plus), but you’re stuck w/nn [name]Don[/name] or [name]Donnie[/name]
[name]Sonny[/name]–irksome…sonnyboy???
[name]Jefferson[/name]–my favorite Pres. (before [name]Obama[/name])!

I quite like all your choices. Tough decision!

[name]Noah[/name] – A very sweet name. Very soft. I enjoy the simplicity. I like that it’s not overused. It’s just a really great, solid choice.
[name]Donovan[/name] – A bit of an athletic name to me, for some reason. Kind of a bro vibe. I like it though! It’s a bit more unique without being weird.
[name]Sonny[/name] – I love this name. I have serious reservations about using it, but I love it. Make of that what you will.
[name]Jefferson[/name] – A bit of an odd choice, but by no means offensive. I suppose not really odd, but my associations are so strong. [name]Thomas[/name] [name]Jefferson[/name]! [name]Jefferson[/name] Airplane! Hard not to jump to something else.

Best of luck! You have some great choices there!!

[name]Noah[/name] is such a nice name, it get’s my vote!

[name]Jefferson[/name]! [name]Love[/name] it!
