Please help us with some suggestions for our baby boy? We would prefer something unusual, however we also need a name which could be used for a formal profession.
I like:
[name_m]Hamish[/name_m]
[name_m]Casper[/name_m]
[name_m]Caleb[/name_m]
[name_m]Cedric[/name_m]
[name_m]Leonardo[/name_m]
[name_f]My[/name_f] husband likes (but does not love)
[name_u]Lincoln[/name_u]
[name_m]Orson[/name_m]
[name_u]Ryker[/name_u]
We both like [name_m]Magnus[/name_m], [name_u]Freddie[/name_u] and [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] but neither of us feel that these names are the one!
With some exceptions, it seems like you both like two-syllable names beginning with a consonant and ending with a consonant other than the typical “n.” Without thinking too hard, the names that jumped into my mind while reading your list are:
Jasper (perhaps slightly more professional than [name_m]Casper[/name_m])
[name_u]Callum[/name_u] (inspired by [name_m]Caleb[/name_m] and [name_m]Hamish[/name_m])
[name_u]Hudson[/name_u] (inspired by [name_u]Lincoln[/name_u])
[name_u]Wilder[/name_u] (inspired by [name_u]Ryker[/name_u])
[name_u]Archer[/name_u] (inspired by [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] and [name_m]Casper[/name_m])
[name_u]Beckett[/name_u]
[name_u]August[/name_u]
[name_m]Oscar[/name_m] (inspired by [name_m]Orson[/name_m] and [name_m]Casper[/name_m])
Thanks all! Some good suggestions there. This is just so hard and I am such a big fan of names! @Katie_Harrington it’s weird but several years ago I had a dream that I had a child called [name_u]Colby[/name_u]!
I recently dreamed I named the baby [name_u]Gabriel[/name_u] too though so not sure what my subconscious is telling me!
