Help with choosing boy #2's name!

We are expecting baby boy #2 and cannot decide on what his name should be!

All the details:

  • My husband is Italian American, and I am an American mutt. Our first son is [name_u]Luca[/name_u] [name_u]Cameron[/name_u], to represent both sides.
  • We both love [name_m]Leo[/name_m], but hubby would prefer a more formal version as the given name… I disagree completely and have used the fact that the baby will potentially be born on the feast day of [name_m]Saint[/name_m] [name_m]Leo[/name_m] (who was Italian) in order to convince him. =)
  • I would like a middle name that is more American to represent my family. I’ll take an Italian American name, in order to help convince him to go with [name_m]Leo[/name_m] instead of [name_m]Leonardo[/name_m] or [name_m]Leandro[/name_m]. Unfortunately, [name_m]Vincent[/name_m], [name_m]Anthony[/name_m], and [name_m]Dominick[/name_m] aren’t options.
  • Our last name is Italian starting with “S” and ending in “A.”

Thanks in advance for your help!

What about [name_m]Lorenzo[/name_m] nn [name_m]Leo[/name_m]? I really like the nn [name_m]Enzo[/name_m] for [name_m]Lorenzo[/name_m] as well.

Other suggestions:

[name_u]Luca[/name_u] &

[name_m]Marco[/name_m]
[name_u]Frankie[/name_u]
[name_m]Soren[/name_m] – [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] this with [name_u]Luca[/name_u]; Could use [name_m]Leandro[/name_m] as MN, and call him [name_m]Leo[/name_m].

[name_m]Leo[/name_m] is a really nice name, and [name_u]Luca[/name_u] & [name_m]Leo[/name_m] sounds pretty good together.

And about middle names, what about?

  • [name_m]Leo[/name_m] [name_m]Robert[/name_m]
  • [name_m]Leo[/name_m] [name_u]Francis[/name_u]
  • [name_m]Leo[/name_m] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m]
  • [name_m]Leo[/name_m] [name_m]Joseph[/name_m]
  • [name_m]Leo[/name_m] [name_m]Marcus[/name_m]
  • [name_m]Leo[/name_m] [name_m]Matthew[/name_m]
  • [name_m]Leo[/name_m] [name_m]Raphael[/name_m]

[name_f]Do[/name_f] you like [name_m]Rocco[/name_m] as first name?
¡

[name_m]Leo[/name_m] sounds great to me as it is. [name_m]Leandro[/name_m] would be my pick for a longer, formal version if you use one.

Middles:
[name_m]Leo[/name_m] [name_m]Edward[/name_m]
[name_m]Leo[/name_m] [name_m]Aaron[/name_m]
[name_m]Leo[/name_m] [name_m]Adam[/name_m]
[name_m]Leo[/name_m] [name_m]Maximilian[/name_m]
[name_m]Leo[/name_m] [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m]
[name_m]Leo[/name_m] [name_m]Conrad[/name_m]
[name_m]Leo[/name_m] [name_m]Tobias[/name_m]
[name_m]Leo[/name_m] [name_u]Tristan[/name_u]
[name_m]Leo[/name_m] [name_u]Jude[/name_u]
[name_m]Leo[/name_m] [name_m]Augustin[/name_m]

There are countless middle name possibilities… what do you mean by “American”? Any language origins? English, Irish, trendy, doesn’t matter?

I immediately thought of [name_m]Enzo[/name_m].

Others that would work:

[name_u]Nico[/name_u]
[name_m]Bastien[/name_m]
[name_m]Marco[/name_m]
[name_m]Rafael[/name_m]
[name_m]Dante[/name_m]
[name_m]Hugo[/name_m]
[name_m]Bruno[/name_m]
