Vote for Esmé. Warm, sweet and means beloved. [name_f]Nova[/name_f] is nice, not a fan of [name_f]Margot[/name_f], sorry.
I prefer Esmé. A sweet, attractive name. [name_f]Nova[/name_f] sounds harsh to me. [name_f]Margot[/name_f] is ok - I prefer [name_f]Margaux[/name_f] spelling, but still would choose Esmé.
I love Esmé and [name_f]Nova[/name_f]!
The “é” does make Esmé a little less appealing to me, though I still love the sound and meaning
[name_f]Nova[/name_f] feels more modern and fresh, but also harsher
Not sure I could pick just one of the two
Thank you! Esmé is really my favourite, but I’m having a difficult time convincing my partner;)
My favorite is [name_f]Margot[/name_f]. [name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Esme[/name_f] would make a beautiful combo.
My favorite is [name_f]Margot[/name_f]. I’m never sure how to pronounce [name_f]Esme[/name_f]… I like ES-mee OK, but not a huge fan of EZ-may. [name_f]Nova[/name_f] sounds a bit hippie to me.
[name_f]Nova[/name_f] is my favourite of the three. I’m a little tired of [name_f]Esme[/name_f] and [name_f]Margot[/name_f].
I like all three, though [name_f]Nova[/name_f] is my least favourite as it does feel a bit trendy and insubstantial to me.
Esmé is lovely, though I prefer [name_f]Esme[/name_f] with the “EZ-me” pronunciation (I assume the accent mark means you say “EZ-may”). [name_f]Margot[/name_f] is cool and classy, I really like it.
[name_f]Nova[/name_f] would be my favorite all by itself…but I may change my mind depending on the middle name or surname, as [name_f]Nova[/name_f] may not flow w/those.
[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Margot[/name_f], but prefer the [name_f]Margaux[/name_f] spelling. Not a fan of [name_f]Esme[/name_f] at all. [name_f]Nova[/name_f] is ok.
My favorite is [name_f]Nova[/name_f], second [name_f]Margot[/name_f]. I’m neutral on [name_f]Esme[/name_f].
While I like all three I vastly prefer [name_f]Nova[/name_f]. I’ve always known what I would name my first daughter but if I ever have another then [name_f]Nova[/name_f] is definitely on my shortlist. It’s a gorgeous name
I like [name_f]Esme[/name_f] too, and [name_f]Margot[/name_f] is a nice name, although I prefer the [name_f]Margo[/name_f] and [name_f]Margaux[/name_f] spellings (especially the latter). Whatever you pick is beautiful though, congrats!
[name_f]Margot[/name_f] gets my vote
All are lovely, but Esmé is by far my favourite.
Esmé is gorgeous. My choice, for sure. I like [name_f]Nova[/name_f], but it is a little too modern for my taste and [name_f]Margot[/name_f] is pretty, but nothing compared to Esmé, in my opinion.
I love [name_f]Esme[/name_f]. [name_f]Margot[/name_f] is also beautiful. Both seem international and sophisticated to me. [name_f]Nova[/name_f], on the other hand, feels a little less elegant in comparison.
One more for [name_f]Esme[/name_f]!
[name_f]Esme[/name_f] is my favorite, and second choice would be [name_f]Margot[/name_f].
[name_m]Hi[/name_m] OP I think each name is lovely but I feel they are different styles. Other Berries may not agree at all.
Esmé makes me think of vintage, of lace,of sweetness and of refinement.
[name_f]Nova[/name_f] has more emphasis on new age, even sci fi and brightness -alert and vivid.
[name_f]Margot[/name_f] for me is English with the [name_m]French[/name_m] undercurrent. Chic, intelligent, even creative and capable.
I wonder what images each bring for you? and whether that makes any difference.
