I am in need to some help with baby girl names. I like vintage, old-fashioned names and seem to gravitate towards literature/arts related themes. [name_u]Baby[/name_u] will have a double barreled surname.
I especially love [name_f]Agatha[/name_f] [name_f]Nell[/name_f]! I also like [name_f]Agatha[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f], [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f], and [name_f]Nell[/name_f] [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f].
I like your style but think the pairings could be stronger:
[name_f]Harriet[/name_f] “[name_f]Hattie[/name_f]” [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f]/ [name_f]Frances[/name_f] or [name_f]Hattie[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f]
[name_f]Agatha[/name_f] [name_f]Nell[/name_f] or [name_f]Agatha[/name_f] [name_f]Lilith[/name_f]
[name_f]Elspeth[/name_f] [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] [name_f]Agnes[/name_f]/ [name_f]Anais[/name_f]
[name_f]Enid[/name_f] [name_f]Temperance[/name_f] (or something long and open so you don’t stumble on [name_f]Enid[/name_f] - [name_f]Enid[/name_f] [name_f]Lilith[/name_f] is a bit too cramped)
I personally could only use [name_f]Harriet[/name_f] or [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] (though I don’t like [name_f]Ros[/name_f]). I’d like to think I’d use [name_f]Agatha[/name_f] as it’s very cool!
Thank you! Yeah I think that could work too as a combo. I hadn’t put them side-by-side before. I love the name [name_f]Romilly[/name_f] in your signature too by the way - but it has been taken my my gorgeous 2 year old cousin, whom it suits so well!
Thank you for the suggestions! I really like like [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f]! One for the list I think.
I have always loved [name_f]Hattie[/name_f] and think I would go for it as a stand-alone over [name_f]Harriet[/name_f], [name_f]Frances[/name_f] is a great pairing suggestion!
Totally agree about the nm [name_f]Ros[/name_f], that’s the reason I’m a bit hesitant on [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] because I totally love it in full.
[name_f]Agatha[/name_f] [name_f]Nell[/name_f] is a great combo. I love [name_f]Hattie[/name_f] and [name_f]Enid[/name_f] too but [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] feels too heavy for [name_f]Hattie[/name_f], and [name_f]Enid[/name_f] [name_f]Lilith[/name_f] is a tongue twister.
