My husband and I had pretty much decided that our baby girl’s name was [name_f]Liv[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]. I am due in 3 weeks. Then my dad passed away suddenly last week and now I am trying to incorporate his name - [name_u]James[/name_u] - into the mix. I don’t particularly like the sound of [name_f]Liv[/name_f] [name_u]James[/name_u] together - two single syllable names feels to me like it needs more substance. Any suggestions out there for how to use another form of [name_u]James[/name_u] as a middle name? Or some other way to incorporate it?

You could also use a form of your father’s middle name, your maiden name, or something with significance to your father (hobbies, birthstone, birth flower, etc.).
[name_f]Do[/name_f] you like [name_u]Jayme[/name_u] or [name_u]Jaime[/name_u] at all? I think [name_f]Liv[/name_f] [name_u]Jayme[/name_u] is adorable!
If not, you could do [name_f]Liv[/name_f] [name_u]Jameson[/name_u]. Then you have the nice 3 syllables [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] has!
You may have thought of this, but you could make her first name [name_f]Olivia[/name_f], call her [name_f]Liv[/name_f], and make her middle name [name_u]James[/name_u] so she would be ‘[name_f]Olivia[/name_f] [name_u]James[/name_u]’. That makes [name_u]James[/name_u] sound nicer than it does with a one syllable first name!
So sorry to hear about your dad, that’s never easy. Let us know what you go with! Whatever you chose, it will be a lovely tribute to his memory.
What about [name_f]Liv[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] [name_u]James[/name_u]? I think it’s sweet. [name_f]Liv[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] is so lovely.
I really suggest sticking with the beautiful [name_f]Liv[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]. [name_m]Add[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u] to the end if you must.
