Hi! I’m hoping to leverage the creative power of my fellow berries to figure out a great way to honor a “[name_f]Jenelle[/name_f]”. We don’t want to use her exact name, so we’re trying to come up with creative alternatives. So far we’ve come up with:
Elle
[name_f]Ella[/name_f]
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]
[name_f]Belle[/name_f]
[name_f]Jen[/name_f]
I’m partial to [name_f]Elle[/name_f] (it’s my daughter’s name) but a few other ideas:
[name_f]Joelle[/name_f]
[name_f]Jolie[/name_f]
[name_u]Julie[/name_u]
[name_f]Jemma[/name_f]
[name_f]Ellie[/name_f]
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] (the long “[name_f]El[/name_f]” sound makes this work)
[name_f]Elodie[/name_f] (again with the long “[name_f]El[/name_f]”)
[name_u]Ellery[/name_u]
Jenelle is a variation of [name_f]Jane[/name_f], [name_u]Jean[/name_u] and [name_f]Johanna[/name_f]. It means “God is gracious”. Anything that fits within these could work.
I think [name_f]Nellie[/name_f] is so sweet. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you think it ages well? [name_m]Can[/name_m] a full grown woman apply to jobs as [name_f]Nellie[/name_f]?
I would imagine so. There are, after all, full grown women named [name_f]Molly[/name_f], [name_f]Sadie[/name_f], [name_u]Josie[/name_u], [name_f]Ellie[/name_f], [name_f]Maddie[/name_f], etc. So, I think yes!
