Help with honouring my Grandmother

Hello,

My [name_f]Nan[/name_f] was a very important figure in my life and was such a lovely lady. Unfortunately she passed away when I was only 7 - I was young, I know, but we were very very close. I saw her almost every day and still miss her dearly. She was the most important person in my life and someone I wish to make very proud.

I would love to be able to name a daughter after her, but am having trouble.

Her name was [name_f]Vera[/name_f] [name_f]Ellen[/name_f].

I don’t love [name_f]Vera[/name_f] or [name_f]Ellen[/name_f], although I would consider using them as they are if I cannot find alternatives.

I’ve looked at other names meaning faith as [name_f]Vera[/name_f] does, but I find nothing that I particularly like. I also looked at other virtue names but found the same response - the only ones I love are [name_f]Faye[/name_f] and [name_u]Merritt[/name_u] (meaning boundary gate) but [name_u]Merritt[/name_u] feels too far fetched.

I haven’t on the other hand been able to find anything relating to [name_f]Ellen[/name_f] that I like at all.

So, could you help me out please? Any pretty and delicate names meaning faith? Variations of [name_f]Vera[/name_f] or [name_f]Ellen[/name_f]? Names mean “bright, shining star” like [name_f]Ellen[/name_f]?

[name_f]TIA[/name_f] for your help!

What about [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f] nn [name_f]Vera[/name_f]? I think that would be just lovely!
For [name_f]Ellen[/name_f] you could go with a variation like [name_f]Elena[/name_f] or [name_f]Helena[/name_f] which is beautiful and very underused. Both Elena and Helena mean “bright, shining light”. [name_m]Even[/name_m] [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] or Eleanor / Eleanora have subtle hints of the same sounds as [name_f]Ellen[/name_f].
