So, my husband has finally found a boys name that he LOVES! This is a very big thing because he is very picky when it comes to boys. He loves the name [name]Marek[/name]. I personally like more classic names. So Im thinking that if i pair [name]Marek[/name] with a middle name that is more my style, I could love it as much as my husband does! Here are some I was thinking of. More suggestions and all opinions welcome!!
[name]Love[/name] [name]Marek[/name]! I love [name]Marek[/name] [name]Griffin[/name] from your list and [name]Marek[/name] [name]Konrad[/name] is my second favorite (though I prefer the spelling [name]Conrad[/name]). From the other list i like [name]Silas[/name] and [name]Soren[/name] and I think they would sound good with [name]Marek[/name]. [name]Marek[/name] [name]Silas[/name] and [name]Marek[/name] [name]Soren[/name] are both great.
I don’t have a strong preference fo either spelling. Marek looks more streamlined while Merrick just looks cooler and seems to be the more established of the 2.
I really like the spelling [name]Merrick[/name], it seems more established. And fwiw, I absolutely adore the name [name]Konrad[/name]! Plus, I think [name]Merrick[/name] and [name]Konrad[/name] would make really cool brothers!
[name]Merrick[/name] and [name]Konrad[/name] are both amazing! I love [name]Merrick[/name] [name]Levi[/name] (or a pp’s suggestion of [name]Merrick[/name] [name]Silas[/name]/[name]Soren[/name]). [name]Merrick[/name] and [name]Konrad[/name] would be great brothers, too.
I also like Zealand from your list, it has a zippy, happy sound I love! I like [name]Auden[/name], but it seems slightly more feminine to me, whereas the other boys’ names I get a cool surfer-guy vibe. [name]Soren[/name] is also great up front.
Good news, my husband gave me free reign with choosing a middle name! The only one he said it absolutely could not be is [name]Marek[/name] [name]Griffin[/name]. Heres afew more I like…
[name]Marek[/name] [name]Parker[/name]
[name]Marek[/name] [name]Dillon[/name]
[name]Marek[/name] [name]Finn[/name]
I still especially like [name]Marek[/name] [name]Noah[/name] and [name]Marek[/name] [name]Levi[/name] though. This is going to be a difficult choice!!
[name]Marek[/name] has a sort of Eastern European feel about it, while [name]Merrick[/name] is more surnamey to me. Plus there’s a subtle difffernce in how I say them (Mah-reck vs Meh-rick) and I think [name]Marek[/name] has a nicer sound.
[name]Marek[/name] and [name]Merrick[/name] are two different names, it’s not really a question of which spelling looks “more established” or something.
of your choices, i like [name]Marek[/name] [name]Thomas[/name] the best. i also think [name]Marek[/name] [name]Alexander[/name] sounds good.
[name]Marek[/name]/[name]Merrick[/name] is one of my favorite boys names! I like both spellings though I slightly prefer [name]Merrick[/name] because the pronunciation seems more obvious. [name]Merrick[/name] [name]Thomas[/name] is really nice and I’ve always personally been a fan of [name]Merrick[/name] [name]Peter[/name] (similar to [name]Merrick[/name] [name]Parker[/name] but less k heavy?), I really like [name]Merrick[/name] [name]Levi[/name] from your list also.
hm. I am seeming to run into some spelling/pronunciation issues! I say [name]Marek[/name] an [name]Merrick[/name] exactly the same. Is this wrong? We love it pronounced ‘[name]Mare[/name]-ick’. So if there will be confusion with the pronounciation of ‘[name]Marek[/name]’ (as Mahr-ick or Muh-rek or something) perhaps it would be best to stick with the [name]Merrick[/name] spelling? I like [name]Marek[/name] better than [name]Merrick[/name] just because I dont like seeing ‘rick’ in the name. Any suggestions?
Also, yes, my husband and I would love to use [name]Konrad[/name] for another boy. [name]Konrad[/name] and [name]Merrick[/name] are perfect brother names!
I [name]LOVE[/name] the name [name]Marek[/name] (and [name]Soren[/name], and I may be a little biased on the last one but I have a [name]Dominic[/name]). =]
I personally say [name]Marek[/name] and [name]Merrick[/name] the exact same way, though I prefer the [name]Marek[/name] spelling (like the character from [name]Michael[/name] [name]Crichton[/name]'s book Timeline). Have you considered [name]Marek[/name] [name]James[/name] or [name]Marek[/name] [name]Gabriel[/name]? Or the alternate spelling of [name]Marek[/name] [name]Dylan[/name]?
Thanks for the input! Still debating if I like [name]Merrick[/name] or [name]Marek[/name] better. Leaning towards [name]Merrick[/name] I think!
Also having trouble picking the perfect middle name! [name]Ive[/name] loved [name]Noah[/name] as long as I can remember. So [name]Merrick[/name] [name]Noah[/name] seems like the obvious choice. However [name]Merrick[/name] [name]Levi[/name] seems so ‘right’! I also love [name]Merrick[/name] [name]Liam[/name]… I think it gives the name a softer more irish kind of feel. So many great choices!
Great news! My husband really likes [name]Merrick[/name] [name]Liam[/name]! I think it is the top contender right now… with the the [name]Merrick[/name] spelling. Plus I was thinking, how cute would [name]Merrick[/name] [name]Liam[/name] be with something like [name]Konrad[/name] [name]Seamus[/name]! I am really liking the irish middle names! I would love more irish mn suggestions that are similar in style to [name]Liam[/name] and [name]Seamus[/name]!
