[name_m]Hi[/name_m], I’m new to this site.
I haven’t had trouble naming my children before but I’m stumped for the middle name for my third child.
I like names that aren’t totally uncommon, but still unique.
[name_f]My[/name_f] first child (daughter) is [name_u]Darcy[/name_u] [name_f]Willow[/name_f] (we are Australian and [name_u]Darcy[/name_u] is not as common here)
[name_f]My[/name_f] second (male) is [name_u]Finley[/name_u] [name_u]James[/name_u] ([name_u]James[/name_u] is a family tradition)
We are expecting another little man to our family and we love the name [name_u]August[/name_u] (especially the nicknames [name_m]Augie[/name_m] and [name_u]Gus[/name_u]) but nothing I come up with matches, and my husband is having trouble too.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks
[name_f]Sheree[/name_f]
[name_u]August[/name_u] [name_u]Everett[/name_u]
[name_u]August[/name_u] [name_m]Levi[/name_m]
[name_u]August[/name_u] [name_m]Eli[/name_m]
[name_u]August[/name_u] [name_m]Rafferty[/name_m]
[name_u]August[/name_u] [name_u]Bentley[/name_u]
[name_u]August[/name_u] [name_m]Malachi[/name_m]
[name_u]August[/name_u] [name_u]Riley[/name_u]
[name_u]August[/name_u] [name_m]Milo[/name_m]
[name_u]August[/name_u] [name_u]Lionel[/name_u]
[name_u]August[/name_u] [name_u]Blake[/name_u]
I REALLY like [name_u]August[/name_u] [name_u]Blake[/name_u], as [name_u]Blake[/name_u] has been on our lists before!
I would choose either [name_u]August[/name_u] [name_u]Blake[/name_u] or [name_u]August[/name_u] [name_m]Levi[/name_m].
I’ve been thinking about [name_u]August[/name_u] [single syllable name]
[name_u]Blake[/name_u] fits that bill but I’m not sure it really rolls off the tongue
What about [name_u]August[/name_u] [name_m]Wells[/name_m]? [name_m]Wells[/name_m] kinda incorporates your other children’s middle names of [name_f]Willow[/name_f] and [name_u]James[/name_u]. It has double Ls and starts with W like willow and it’s one syllable and ends in S like [name_u]James[/name_u]. I also like the digestion of [name_u]August[/name_u] [name_u]Blake[/name_u]. Or maybe you can use a middle name that is two syllables and ends in -y to mimic the pattern for [name_u]Darcy[/name_u] and [name_u]Finley[/name_u]. [name_u]Rory[/name_u], [name_u]Grady[/name_u], [name_u]Jamie[/name_u], [name_u]Avery[/name_u], [name_u]Kelly[/name_u]…
Would your maiden name or another family surname work as a middle? Is there anyone you would like to honor? Maybe a family member, idol, or a place or city that is special to you
