I’m not going to be having a baby anytime soon, but I do like playing around with names and I’m pretty set on my girls names. First names, that is. I know that I do want a middle name, because I grew up with a middle name and I’ve always liked having two names.
The first names I like are:
[name_f]Ariana[/name_f] and [name_f]Emily[/name_f].
I’m pretty much decided on that, so it’s really just the middle names that I have trouble with.
I do have some stipulations. I am [name_m]German[/name_m], though I grew up internationally and live in English-speaking countries. As such, I’m definitely set on more anglo-type names. Buuut due to my [name_m]German[/name_m] family, I can’t have any names that are impossible to pronounce, or sound silly in [name_m]German[/name_m]. So names like [name_f]Isla[/name_f], [name_m]Seamus[/name_m], [name_f]Ava[/name_f], [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f], [name_f]Maisie[/name_f], [name_u]Jude[/name_u] (for obvious reasons).
Most J-starting names tend to be difficult to pronounce in [name_m]German[/name_m], as the J has a softer sound in [name_m]German[/name_m] – similar in sound to a Y in English. So [name_f]Jana[/name_f] would be pronounced [name_f]Yana[/name_f], [name_f]Jessica[/name_f] as Yessica, etc (though the latter has been popularised enough that I think it could be avoided.)
I’m happy for all sorts of suggestions. Note that the last name would start with an “N”.

Problem is that I dislike it when they have mismatching names, as in, if [name_f]Ariana[/name_f]'s middle name were [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] or [name_f]Isabella[/name_f], then [name_f]Emily[/name_f] [name_f]Cara[/name_f] would feel out of place for being too short.
[name_f]Ariana[/name_f] [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] and [name_f]Emily[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] both sound lovely to me!
