Help with name in a blended family

[name]Hi[/name] - I just found this site today and have been enjoying the posts. My new husband and I are expecting a girl in [name]March[/name] and she is lucky enough to have 6 siblings (3 each from our respective first marriages). My three are named [name]Logan[/name] (boy, and at the time there were not a lot of Logans), [name]Savanna[/name] and Avonlea. His three are [name]Austin[/name] (boy), [name]Haley[/name] and [name]Kelsey[/name]. We need something that blends our busy household and covers the large age gap! I need unique and meaningful and he needs it to “sound like a name.” Any ideas?

What about [name]Spring[/name] related names for a [name]March[/name] baby?
[name]Marchelle[/name] or [name]Marcheline[/name] (NN: Chelly)

Also, for any [name]Anne[/name] of [name]Green[/name] Gables lover (Avonlea = you are my hero)
[name]Amaryllis[/name] (for which [name]Marilla[/name] or [name]Rilla[/name] are nn and decidedly springtime-y to boot!)
[name]Joyce[/name] or [name]Joy[/name] [name]Anna[/name], for a double tap reference.
[name]Cordelia[/name] ([name]Delia[/name])

I think these all go nicely with all your names, maybe? Good luck with your baby!

Hmmm, I see a challenge here. No offense, but I like your name style much better. [name]Do[/name] you have a style that you like best? Here are a few suggestions. I think girly/feminine would be best.

Hmm, [name]Haley[/name], [name]Kelsey[/name], and Avonlea end in -ee, [name]Austin[/name] and [name]Logan[/name] end in -n, so I think it might be nice to go with a name that ends in -a to “go with [name]Savanna[/name]” - but maybe just not one that ends in -ee again. But it could be nice to have a name like that with a nn that would fit. Anyway that’s just one strategy by no means necessary.

Maybe something a little on the unusual side to go with Avonlea (since the other 5 have fairly familiar names). Also, [name]Austin[/name], Avonlea, and [name]Savanna[/name] are places and [name]Logan[/name], [name]Kelsey[/name], and [name]Haley[/name] aren’t (I think?) so you could go either way on that. I’d avoid [name]Anna[/name] names…too rhymey with [name]Savanna[/name] : D.

[name]Calista[/name] nn [name]Callie[/name]
[name]Fiona[/name] nn [name]Fee[/name]
[name]Talitha[/name] nn [name]Tallie[/name]
[name]Tabitha[/name] nn [name]Tabby[/name]
[name]Helena[/name] (lots of nn options)
[name]Eliora[/name] nn [name]Ellie[/name]

Anything close? Good luck!

A sister for Avonlea, Kesley, [name]Hailey[/name], [name]Savanna[/name], [name]Logan[/name] & [name]Austin[/name]…

[name]Evelyn[/name]/[name]Eva[/name]/[name]Evie[/name]/[name]Eve[/name] (pretty much any variation I think would work with your set)

Thank you for all the great ideas - several were already names I had mentioned to my husband (which he has NOT warmed up to, but we still have time  ). Ok, my list at this point:

[name]Cordelia[/name] - my all time favorite but for some reason reminds my husband of roosters???
[name]Elizabeth[/name]/[name]Eliza[/name] - [name]Love[/name] [name]Jane[/name] [name]Austen[/name] almost as much as LM [name]Montgomery[/name]

Middle name ideas:

and @sarra21 - I have never heard Newlynd before and it has been in my head all night. This is a new marriage (and the real one) and the baby is really a new beginning for all of us, it’s definitely intriguing. Is that from something?
