I am expecting my fifth child (third boy) and nothing jumps out at me as the “it” name.
It has to be a Hebrew origin name (we are jewish) but I don’t want it to sound too “out there” to an American ear. I like names with good meaning and that can have nicknames. Also my native language is Russian and hubby’s is Portuguese so it is a bonus if names sound nice in those languages.
Middle name will probably be [name_m]Natan[/name_m] or [name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m] (to honor my grandma who recently passed away who had similar letters in her name).
I was considering [name_m]David[/name_m] (a bit too bland for me but a fallback name of I can’t come up with something better), [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] (was either loved or hated in another forum I asked about it, so I am leaning away from it now), [name_m]Samson[/name_m] (again hated by many on another forum)… Not too attached to any of these though. I would have names him [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] but I cannot use it because it is a name of a close family member (this is a firm decision, a strong tradition)
The siblings are (doesn’t have to be matchy but to give you an idea of our taste)
[name_f]Esther[/name_f] [name_f]Daniella[/name_f]
[name_m]Rafael[/name_m] [name_m]Avner[/name_m]
[name_f]Naomi[/name_f] [name_f]Eliana[/name_f]
[name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] [name_m]Lev[/name_m]
[name_u]Seth[/name_u] came to mind but not sure if that works very well in Portugese and Russian though. [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] ? I also love [name_m]Benji[/name_m] which [name_m]Ive[/name_m] just added to our short list!
Im not sure what origin these are but the means are all positive. Good luck!
[name_m]Maximus[/name_m]
[name_m]Donovan[/name_m]
[name_m]Joshua[/name_m]

[name_m]Milo[/name_m]
[name_u]Beau[/name_u]
[name_u]Ariel[/name_u]
I’d recommend using [name_m]Natan[/name_m] rather than [name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m] as a middle name for these names. I think [name_m]Joel[/name_m] [name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m] would sound fine though.
Well, I know nothing of Russian or Portuguese, so I apologize if these don’t work, but here are a few that came to mind…
