Help with nickname

Hey, everyone

I’m pregnant for the third time, my baby boy will arrive in [name]December[/name], and we’ve decided on the name Osho [name]Salinger[/name]. I know this may sound a little weird for many people, but it’s okay. We already have a 5-year-old boy named [name]Hendrix[/name] [name]Leandro[/name], who we call “[name]Henry[/name]”, and a 3-year-old girl named Emmaretta [name]London[/name], or just “[name]Emma[/name]”. I love the name Osho, it means “self-taught Buddhist monk” and also “oceanic”. It is also the name of a very famous philosopher, who is the reason my husband and I met, so it’s pretty simbolic for us. The problem is, Osho is a very short name, and I kind of feel the need of having a family nickname, you know, something intimate. I thought about “[name]Sal[/name]”, as short for [name]Salinger[/name], but I just feel like it should be something coming from his first name, after all, it’s such a beautiful, unique name. So I’m asking if anyone has any suggestions.

Thanks a lot.

Ossy? [name]Ozzy[/name]? Oshy? Os/[name]Oz[/name]? I’m terrible at this, but those came to mind so I thought I’d post them. [name]Don[/name]'t worry. People will come up with much better ones soon.

OMG, [name]Ozzy[/name] just sounds awesome! I know you probably didn’t realize this, but Emmaretta is a song by Deep Purple, and [name]Hendrix[/name] is an obvious tribute to the musician, so [name]OZZY[/name] just perfectly fits the “rock” theme. Thanks a lot, I’ll definetly consider it.
