Help with our LONG list!

Brainstorming names for my 2nd daughter. I have a long list of names, I really like all of them but I’m not sure I love any of them. Please tell me if you like the names, and more suggestions would be GREAT. I’m not really sure what my exact style is…I like a little bit of everything I guess.

[name]Ruby[/name]
Shoshanna
Merrin
[name]Jane[/name]
[name]Reece[/name]
Kerren
[name]Alice[/name]
[name]Margot[/name]

Thank you so much!

I really like [name]Alice[/name], [name]Margot[/name] and [name]Jane[/name]!!
Have you considered?:
[name]Susannah[/name]
[name]Beatrix[/name]
[name]Josie[/name]
[name]Annabel[/name]
[name]Louisa[/name]
[name]Charlotte[/name]
[name]Harriet[/name]
[name]Cordelia[/name]
[name]Claudia[/name]
[name]Daisy[/name]
[name]Lucy[/name]
[name]Quinn[/name]
[name]Roxanna[/name]
[name]Milena[/name]
Best of luck!

I love [name]Alice[/name], Shoshanna and [name]Jane[/name]. What about [name]Isabel[/name], [name]Norah[/name], [name]Freya[/name], [name]Adeline[/name], [name]Sophia[/name], [name]Victoria[/name] or [name]Clementine[/name]?

Would you mind sharing your elder daughter’s name? Or give us an idea of the style, as it would help in pinpointing which of your lovely options would sound best on her sister.

[name]Ruby[/name] - spunky, but quite popular and I personally don’t think that it ages well.

Shoshanna - so much fine, plus the lovely, classic nn [name]Annie[/name] is available. Would only work if your elder daugher’s name is very unusual or distinctly Jewish.

Merrin - I don’t think it’s as lovely as some of your other choices.

[name]Jane[/name] - the ultimate classic.

[name]Reece[/name] - feels tomboyish next to great, traditional choices such as [name]Alice[/name], [name]Jane[/name] and [name]Margot[/name].

Kerren - I’m afraid this one feels trendy to me. [name]Karen[/name] is a lovely similar name, though.

[name]Alice[/name] - a lovely name, but beware - if you live in [name]Britain[/name], this name is extremely popular.

[name]Margot[/name] - beautiful and glamorous, this is my favourite of your options. If I got to name your daughter, I might go for [name]Margot[/name] [name]Jane[/name].

my favorites from your list are [name]Jane[/name],[name]Alice[/name] & [name]Margot[/name] .

auburn - My daughter’s name is [name]Romilly[/name] [name]Ellen[/name].

Oh, [name]Romilly[/name] is a lovely name! Well, I think that definitely rules out [name]Ruby[/name], as she starts and ends with the same sound as [name]Romilly[/name]. Shoshanna and [name]Romilly[/name] - one religious, one glamorous - feels slightly off to me, but I imagine won’t if you happen to live in an area with a large number of Jewish families (I’m asssuming the name would feel less ‘religion’ and more ‘name’ there).

[name]Reece[/name], Merrin and [name]Kerrin[/name] feel boyish next to [name]Romilly[/name] to me.

That leaves us with :
[name]Romilly[/name] and [name]Jane[/name] - don’t get me wrong, [name]Jane[/name] is wonderful. However, quite a few people think of it as plain … and I worry that your daughter would, too, and might feel shortchanged next to the glamorous and unusual [name]Romilly[/name].

[name]Romilly[/name] and [name]Alice[/name] - lovely, just beware the rising popularity of [name]Alice[/name].

[name]Romilly[/name] and [name]Margot[/name] - perfection. I would love to meet sisters named [name]Romilly[/name] and [name]Margot[/name], as I feel the names are perfectly equally to each other in exotic, glamorous flavour, with a touch of the vintage. I really think this is the one to go for!

Good luck! [name]Auburn[/name]
