We have a little boy [name_m]Donny[/name_m] [name_m]Fox[/name_m]. Surname starts with G, very common, two syllables. I feel I’ve created a bit of “situation” with the middle name [name_m]Fox[/name_m], as [name_m]Donny[/name_m] has fox toys, fox clothes, gets fox birthday cards etc. I would like the second child to have a “special” name, too, be it first or middle, even if it is a colour, animal etc. I’m having trouble with order, flow and a suitable match (most likely the last child). I’d thought I throw my lists out there and see if anyone can come up with magical. I REALLY enjoyed the recent list “If you had a baby today…” I’d ultimately like something a little vintagey, different and imaginative. Would be delighted to consider names not on my favourites list. Thanks in advance. [name_u]Lou[/name_u].
With [name_m]Donny[/name_m] [name_m]Fox[/name_m] as a brother, I would go with the special name in the middle. I think I would also pick so etching other than another animal but a color doesn’t seem special enough. [name_m]Anchor[/name_m] and [name_m]Rocket[/name_m] are my favorites from your list for middle names though I think [name_m]Drummer[/name_m] could also work.
[name_m]Digby[/name_m] [name_m]Anchor[/name_m] goes well with [name_m]Donny[/name_m] [name_m]Fox[/name_m] if you don’t mind the same first initial. [name_m]Donny[/name_m] and [name_m]Digby[/name_m].
Because the middle name is longer than [name_m]Fox[/name_m], I like the idea of a shorter first name.
[name_u]Jem[/name_u] [name_m]Rocket[/name_m] strikes me as having a nice flow. [name_m]Donny[/name_m] and [name_u]Jem[/name_u].
[name_m]Ike[/name_m] [name_m]Drummer[/name_m] is pretty cool. [name_m]Donny[/name_m] and [name_m]Ike[/name_m].
I think my favorite from your list is [name_m]Ned[/name_m] and I would go with [name_m]Ned[/name_m] [name_m]Anchor[/name_m].
Other ideas … I love boys names ending in o. Also for middle names, I rather like [name_u]Jet[/name_u] and [name_m]Archer[/name_m]
Instead of [name_u]Lou[/name_u] what about [name_m]Leo[/name_m]
I can totally relate to all the fox stuff. When my son was very young, he liked to pretend to be a fox. I made up “Jacob Fox” stories for him and included his cousins as animal characters. Now I buy fox things for my grandchildren. I agree that your second just needs an equally special name.
Johnny Moss (I like this one, but it wouldn’t be a much fun for your son and Johnny and Donnie

What aout [name_m]Anchor[/name_m] [name_u]Blue[/name_u]? [name_f]Hope[/name_f] the little guy wouldn’t get seasick because he would always end up with nautical themed stuff.
First of all, I love Donny Fox. I think its tons of fun and also because Donny could become Don, has the ability to age well.
I would try
Asher Lynx
Viggo Lynx
Milo Wolf
Archer Storm
Tyler Rocket (saw it above, seconding it because its really cute)

[name_m]Ted[/name_m] [name_m]Bjorn[/name_m] ([name_m]Bjorn[/name_m] means bear so you could call him your little teddy bear as a nickname but he has a handsome strong name too!)

Since [name_m]Donnie[/name_m] is kind of popular on middle age men, I would stick to the same trend and a special middle name! Since [name_m]Donnie[/name_m] gets special gifts to commemorate his special name you do not want your second son to feel left out so I would throw out any names that people will have a difficult time buying for ([name_m]Fergus[/name_m], Igby and the likes) I would stick to an animal name as well. Please don’t use [name_f]Jen[/name_f] sounds too close the girls name [name_f]Gem[/name_f]!
[name_m]Ted[/name_m] ([name_m]Teddie[/name_m] as a nn)[name_m]Wolf[/name_m]
[name_m]Ted[/name_m] [name_m]Bear[/name_m] ( maybe too close as [name_u]Teddy[/name_u] bear, however I can see this as a name easier to buy for)
[name_m]Ted[/name_m] Grizzly
Why not [name_m]Todd[/name_m] (as a nod to [name_m]Fox[/name_m], as [name_m]Todd[/name_m] also means fox and can also be spelled as [name_m]Tod[/name_m]! NN Todie
I think [name_m]Bear[/name_m] or [name_m]Wolf[/name_m] are great options. [name_m]Felix[/name_m] [name_m]Bear[/name_m]. [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] [name_m]Wolf[/name_m]. [name_u]Love[/name_u] them [name_m]Both[/name_m]!
With a name like [name_m]Donny[/name_m] [name_m]Fox[/name_m] as your first, my instinct for the second boy’s first name is a similar ‘old man’ style nickname. I love the idea of having a special word middle name, so definitely keep with that!
I also knew a kid when I was younger called Wilf, which was short for [name_m]Wilfred[/name_m]. Maybe the wolf imagery could come from that?
best middle name is probably bear, simply because it has the same ability to be cutesy and has a lot of bear toys you can get, tho wolf, tiger, lion etc are also really cute
While I agree that baby brother should also have a special middle, I think another animal would be too matchy. [name_f]My[/name_f] favorite middle options are [name_u]Jet[/name_u] and [name_m]Rocket[/name_m].
What about…
[name_m]Donny[/name_m] [name_m]Fox[/name_m] and [name_u]Arlo[/name_u] [name_u]Jet[/name_u] (as pp said)
[name_m]Donny[/name_m] [name_m]Fox[/name_m] and [name_u]Lou[/name_u] [name_m]Rocket[/name_m]
[name_m]Donny[/name_m] [name_m]Fox[/name_m] and [name_u]Lou[/name_u] [name_u]Jet[/name_u]
[name_m]Donny[/name_m] [name_m]Fox[/name_m] and [name_m]Hawthorne[/name_m] [name_u]Jet[/name_u]
I like the idea of a fiery dragon for your next son:

[name_u]Hayden[/name_u] Dragon
[name_m]Hagan[/name_m]
