Hey! So I’m not big on honor names but I think I’d like to honor a great scientist or figure. It would be a middle name to go with my first name, [name_m]Roman[/name_m].
The people I am interested in honoring are:
[name_m]Leonardo[/name_m] da [name_m]Vinci[/name_m]
[name_m]Wolfgang[/name_m] [name_m]Amadeus[/name_m] [name_m]Mozart[/name_m]
[name_m]Carl[/name_m] [name_m]Sagan[/name_m]
[name_u]Neil[/name_u] DeGrasse [name_u]Tyson[/name_u]
[name_m]Stephen[/name_m] Hawking
[name_m]Albert[/name_m] Einstein
Charles Darwin
Richard Dawkins
[name_m]Bill[/name_m] [name_m]Nye[/name_m] (my favorite person ever haha)
[name_f]Martha[/name_f] P. [name_m]Johnson[/name_m] (a trans woman who threw the first brick at [name_m]Stonewall[/name_m])
Any tips/suggestions? Combos I’ve considered are:
[name_m]Roman[/name_m] [name_m]Johnson[/name_m]
[name_m]Roman[/name_m] [name_m]Sagan[/name_m]
[name_m]Roman[/name_m] [name_m]Leonardo[/name_m]
[name_m]Roman[/name_m] [name_m]Amadeus[/name_m]
[name_m]Roman[/name_m] [name_m]Will[/name_m]
[name_m]Roman[/name_m] [name_m]Charles[/name_m]
[name_m]Roman[/name_m] [name_m]Vincent[/name_m]
[name_m]Roman[/name_m] [name_m]Leonidas[/name_m]
[name_m]Roman[/name_m] [name_u]Dean[/name_u]
[name_m]Roman[/name_m] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m]
[name_m]Roman[/name_m] [name_u]Stanley[/name_u] (I have [name_m]Stan[/name_m] as an honor name for a [name_m]Stuart[/name_m] but [name_u]Stanley[/name_u] flows better with [name_m]Roman[/name_m])
[name_m]Roman[/name_m] [name_u]Connor[/name_u]/Caleb (both mean dog, dogs evolved from wolves. It’s a bit of a stretch )
[name_m]Roman[/name_m] [name_m]Hawk[/name_m]
Thanks for the suggestions so far! I can’t believe I forgot to add [name_m]Richard[/name_m] Dawkins and [name_m]Charles[/name_m] [name_m]Darwin[/name_m] to the list haha @MagnoliaE who is [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] referencing? Sorry if I’m missing something, haha. I love [name_m]Roman[/name_m] [name_u]Connor[/name_u] honoring [name_m]Darwin[/name_m]! It’s a stretch but it’s great anyways
Einstein I was trying to find another [name_m]Al[/name_m] name but I didn’t think [name_m]Albie[/name_m] or [name_m]Alfred[/name_m]/Alfie flowed well. Also, since [name_m]Stein[/name_m] means stone maybe a honor for Einstein could be [name_m]Peter[/name_m] (which means rock), [name_f]Selah[/name_f] (which also means [name_m]Rock[/name_m] but for a girl), or literally just [name_m]Stone[/name_m].
Roman [name_m]Leonardo[/name_m], [name_m]Roman[/name_m] [name_m]Amadeus[/name_m], and [name_m]Roman[/name_m] [name_m]Johnson[/name_m] are all wonderful combos!
Roman [name_m]Leolin[/name_m]
[name_m]Roman[/name_m] [name_m]Wolfgang[/name_m]
[name_m]Roman[/name_m] [name_m]William[/name_m] or [name_m]Wilhelm[/name_m]
[name_m]Roman[/name_m] [name_u]Neil[/name_u] (honors [name_u]Neil[/name_u] DeGrasse [name_u]Tyson[/name_u] and is also a stretch for the [name_m]Nye[/name_m] sound?)
I like
[name_m]Roman[/name_m] [name_m]Charles[/name_m] the best
[name_m]Roman[/name_m] [name_m]Vinci[/name_m]
[name_m]Roman[/name_m] [name_m]Albert[/name_m]
[name_m]Roman[/name_m] [name_m]Nye[/name_m] [name_m]Sagan[/name_m]
[name_m]Roman[/name_m] [name_m]Johnson[/name_m]
Roman [name_m]Leonardo[/name_m] just really flows for me! I also think [name_m]Roman[/name_m] Hawking would be really cool. Those are the only ones that dont sound too “second surnamey” to me. [name_m]Amadeus[/name_m] is cool but it’s a middle name so i dont know if you’re looking to make a more obvious connection. [name_m]Roman[/name_m] [name_m]Mozart[/name_m] might work also!!
