as a Boy Mom x 4 - I’m finding it especially hard to come up with the perfect middle name for [name_u]Wren[/name_u]! I struggle because I love short strong names, but after naming 4 boys… I feel like the only baby girl should have a clearly feminine moniker?
[name_u]Wren[/name_u] ____???
Her brothers are [name_u]Parker[/name_u] [name_u]Grey[/name_u], [name_m]Knox[/name_m] [name_m]Anderson[/name_m], [name_u]Jude[/name_u] [name_m]Decker[/name_m] and [name_m]Nash[/name_m] [name_m]Wheeler[/name_m] (they all bear a family name paired with a name we just liked)
family name options would be [name_f]Ameila[/name_f], [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f], [name_f]Louisa[/name_f], [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f], [name_u]James[/name_u], [name_f]Eliza[/name_f], and [name_f]Mae[/name_f]
However, I feel like I’m willing to move away from a family name to get it just right! maybe even play on her Colombian, Greek or Nordic heritage? or just anything that sounds irresistible?
[name_u]Wren[/name_u] is so sweet but so hard to pair!!
[name_u]Wren[/name_u] [name_f]Amelia[/name_f], [name_u]Wren[/name_u] [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] and [name_u]Wren[/name_u] [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] would be lovely though!
Thank you for those options! [name_u]Wren[/name_u] [name_f]Elora[/name_f] flows really beautifully, I think the names beginning with vowels seem to work best, but I am partial to [name_u]Wren[/name_u] [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f], too!
liking [name_u]Wren[/name_u] [name_f]Iris[/name_f], too
[name_u]Wren[/name_u] [name_f]Louisa[/name_f], [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f], [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] or [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] all work well. Like [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f] or [name_f]Tatiana[/name_f] (I like [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] a lot but a consonant works well after [name_u]Wren[/name_u] as far as saying it goes otherwise just runs on)
Oh, good point about the vowel names making a “run on”…
[name_u]Wren[/name_u] [name_f]Seraphine[/name_f] and [name_u]Wren[/name_u] [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] are gorgeous!
[name_f]Glad[/name_f] you like them, both make the name [name_u]Wren[/name_u] grander but without taking over its sprightly quality. I think [name_u]Wren[/name_u] [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] is especially beautiful.
I like [name_u]Wren[/name_u] [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] best of your options. I think a slight pause can keep the names from running together. I also like [name_u]Wren[/name_u] [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f]. I think gentle sounding names work well because they won’t detract from or overwhelm [name_u]Wren[/name_u].
I had [name_u]Wren[/name_u] [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] in my combos for a while, but my husband doesn’t like [name_u]Wren[/name_u] so it’s off the list for now.
From your list of family names list, I think [name_u]Wren[/name_u] [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] is beautiful!
I really like [name_u]Wren[/name_u] [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] from your list. I feel like [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] is an underused, very feminine but not frilly name. Also, I wonder if she will at any point feel left out if you don’t give her a family name in the middle spot? It’s probably not a deal-breaker. To be honest, maybe it’s more my own compulsion to have complete sets of things, but maybe something to consider for you.
[name_u]Love[/name_u] your options! My favorites are [name_u]Wren[/name_u] [name_f]Eliza[/name_f], [name_u]Wren[/name_u] [name_f]Louisa[/name_f], [name_u]Wren[/name_u] [name_f]Amelia[/name_f], and [name_u]Wren[/name_u] [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f].
[name_u]Wren[/name_u] [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] is simply stunning!! I like the idea of [name_u]Wren[/name_u] [name_f]Louise[/name_f] (rather than [name_f]Louisa[/name_f]) too, which would work as an honour name.
