[name]Hi[/name]! My son is named [name]Hudson[/name] [name]Beckett[/name] and we are expecting boy #2 and cannot find a name we are happy with! Can you critique our short list and/or make suggestions? Thx! Our last name is 2 syllable, begins with R

I’d probably avoid a name that also ends in the -on/-en sound so they don’t rhyme. [name]Reilly[/name] is cute, as is [name]Luke[/name]. And even though [name]Luke[/name] is popular, it is also a classic, so that makes it okay.

From your list, I really love [name]Weston[/name], though I agree that I would probably avoid another -on name. Also, I have to agree with your husband on [name]Madden[/name] - I can’t get past [name]Steve[/name] [name]Madden[/name] shoes or the fact that it is also a word meaning to make someone angry.

Thanks! The rhyming thing does bother me a little, too. My son LOVES the name [name]Luke[/name], as do I, but I am worried about the popularity. But I swear I have never met a luke! It must be where I live…

What about some like [name]Lucas[/name] [name]Reilly[/name]? You could call him [name]Luke[/name] for short.

I really like [name]Weston[/name], especially if you don’t mind that the end sounds the same as [name]Hudson[/name]. [name]How[/name] about [name]Weston[/name] [name]Lucas[/name]?
