I have two little boys, [name]Aiden[/name] [name]Hudson[/name] and [name]William[/name] [name]Archer[/name]. I’m expecting my third son this summer, and we are having a terrible time coming to any decisions. I need some outside opinions! Our picks so far are:
[name]Roman[/name]
[name]Levi[/name]
[name]Finn[/name]
Middle names will be either [name]McKee[/name] (my hubby’s middle) [name]Major[/name] (in honor of grandfather) or [name]James[/name], just cause I love that name
Here’s the oddball: [name]Eero[/name]. It’s pronounced [name]Air[/name]-oh, Finnish for [name]Eric[/name], which is my husband’s name. We really like it, but aren’t sure if it’s too different from our other boys’ names, or just plain weird. What do you think? :?:
[name]Eero[/name] is different from your other sons names but I think it could work (especially [name]Eero[/name] [name]James[/name]) and if it’s the one you really love, I would say go for it
Well, your son’s names [name]Aiden[/name] and [name]William[/name] are kind of different in style so [name]Eero[/name] would fit right in! I like [name]Alexa[/name]'s suggestion of [name]Eero[/name] [name]James[/name]. [name]Roman[/name] and [name]Finn[/name] are too similar in sound to your sons. I guess [name]Levi[/name] would be my pick from your list but I still like [name]Eero[/name] better. Good luck!
I like [name]Aiden[/name], [name]William[/name] & [name]Roman[/name] myself. [name]Roman[/name] [name]Eero[/name] would be pretty awesome, I think. I’m still trying to figure out how [name]Roman[/name]'s too similar to [name]Aiden[/name] & [name]William[/name]. Two syllable, ends in a consonant is all I can come up with. I think that sort of link is fine, they all start with different letters and end with different letters.
[name]Roman[/name] [name]Eero[/name]! Fabulous!
I like all the names you’re considering. [name]Roman[/name] [name]Eero[/name] has awesome punch, it’s that repeated [name]Ro[/name]. I will just say that if you are history buffs at all, it’s a little close to (but NOT identical to, an important distinction) [name]Roman[/name] [name]Nero[/name], which is a negative. But I don’t think that’ll be obvious to most - I’m just way too nerdy about this stuff : D.
I really love [name]Levi[/name] with [name]Aiden[/name] and [name]William[/name] - [name]Aiden[/name] is a variant of an old Irish name that’s very in style right now, [name]William[/name] is a classic name in the English tradition with an in-style Irish nickname ([name]Liam[/name]), and [name]Levi[/name] overlaps with that nickname by L and is from a third, different tradition, being Biblical, while still also in style. [name]Finn[/name] just seems a lot closer to [name]Aiden[/name] being a somewhat trendy Irish name, [name]Roman[/name] strikes the balance almost as well as [name]Levi[/name] somehow too, I guess I just like [name]Levi[/name] a little better. And I [name]LOVE[/name] the name [name]Eero[/name] but I do think it’s better for middle position when his brothers have such familiar names. In my family there are two sisters with names that were very different in familiarity, and it was kind of a painful thing for them growing up, although of course if you ask 100 people in this situation for their stories you will hear 100 different things : D. If you go for it more power to you! I can also see [name]Eero[/name] as a nn for [name]Roman[/name], btw, given that [name]Ro[/name] syllable and your attachment to the name.
