Our last name is very normal and common - [name]Gordon[/name] … So I want to use a unique but not “out there” first and middle name. My man and I can’t seem to agree on anything, though… Help!
I love the name [name]Norris[/name] [name]Burke[/name] or [name]Norris[/name] Lain.
I also love [name]Gannon[/name] [name]Bryce[/name] or [name]Ganon[/name] [name]Bryce[/name].
Or, [name]Saul[/name] [name]Ryker[/name] / [name]Sullivan[/name] [name]Ryker[/name].
I think [name]Saul[/name] [name]Gord[/name]@n would be the most unique choice. I don’t like the rhyming quality of [name]Sullivan[/name] and [name]Gannon[/name] with your surname. [name]NORris[/name] [name]GORd[/name]@n doesn’t flow very well either. [name]Ryker[/name] is a very trendy name so I don’t find it very unusual at all.
I like [name]Saul[/name] and [name]Sullivan[/name] a lot.
[name]Ganon[/name] [name]Gordon[/name]? yuck.
[name]Saul[/name] [name]Gordon[/name] sounds like a banker.
[name]Sullivan[/name] [name]Gordon[/name] sounds cool and you could call him [name]Sully[/name].
I think [name]Saul[/name] is my favorite from your list.
You have them listed as a middle names, but I also like [name]Burke[/name] and [name]Bryce[/name] as a potential first names.
[name]Sullivan[/name] is nice too, but I don’t think it flows well with your last name.
[name]Gannon[/name]/[name]Ganon[/name] make me think that [name]Canon[/name] was mispelled. I actually know a boy by the name of [name]Canon[/name] and I think he wears the name well. My concern with the name for you is the flow with [name]Gordon[/name]. Too many -on sounds [name]IMO[/name].
As for [name]Norris[/name], all I can think of are [name]Chuck[/name] [name]Norris[/name] jokes. Sorry!
[name]Saul[/name] is my favorite out of your options – partially because it’s a really cool name, and partially because the others don’t flow well with your last name.
I’m thinking you may also like [name]Ryland[/name] and [name]Shale[/name]…
I find [name]Norris[/name] [name]Gordon[/name] a bit too “OR” heavy, and [name]Gannon[/name] [name]Gordon[/name] sounds a bit like a Dr. Seuss character. I too find [name]Saul[/name] [name]Gordon[/name] the most appealing (really like [name]Saul[/name]), but [name]Ryker[/name] is a little violent/harsh sounding to my ears. What about [name]Saul[/name] [name]Ryder[/name] [name]Gordon[/name]? Or even [name]Sullivan[/name] [name]Bryce[/name] [name]Gordon[/name]? I like [name]Bryce[/name] a ton as a first name, too. Other suggestions:
Surnamey like [name]Norris[/name], [name]Burke[/name], and [name]Sullivan[/name]
[name]Gage[/name] (tougher like [name]Gannon[/name] and still alliterative, but less rhymey)
[name]Channing[/name]
[name]Winslow[/name] (nn [name]Win[/name])
[name]Brooks[/name]
[name]Wills[/name]
[name]Clark[/name]
[name]Barrett[/name]
[name]Bridger[/name] ([name]Bridger[/name] [name]Gordon[/name] is a kick-butt name)
[name]Fletcher[/name]
Masculine and trendier like [name]Ryker[/name]
[name]Zander[/name] or [name]Xander[/name]
[name]Cruz[/name]
[name]Jagger[/name]
[name]Dax[/name]
Edgy/unusual classic twist like [name]Saul[/name]
[name]Rafael[/name]
[name]Phoenix[/name]
[name]Moses[/name] or [name]Moises[/name]
[name]Rhett[/name] (oooh, [name]Rhett[/name] [name]Gordon[/name] is so handsome)
[name]Mattias[/name]
[name]Arlo[/name]
[name]Abraham[/name] (nn [name]Bram[/name])
[name]Luca[/name]
More familiar yet still unusual classic like [name]Bryce[/name] or [name]Lane[/name] (much prefer this spelling)
[name]Garrett[/name] (also alliterative, but less rhymey)
[name]Grant[/name] (ditto)
[name]Derek[/name]
[name]Van[/name] or [name]Vaughn[/name]
[name]Conrad[/name]
[name]Anders[/name]
[name]Hugh[/name]
[name]Alec[/name]
Best of luck! I hope any of these suggestions (mine or others) help bridge the gap
The only one of your choices I think sounds good with your last name is [name]Saul[/name] – and it has the bonus of being a classic and different/unique at the same time. I like [name]Sullivan[/name], but I don’t like it with [name]Gordon[/name] – maybe because they’re both last names that can be first names? I also don’t care for [name]Ryker[/name] because it reminds me of the prison. (I think that’s a sign I watch a little too much [name]Law[/name] & Order.)
I also love pps’ suggestions of [name]Cyrus[/name], [name]Bridger[/name], [name]Phoenix[/name], and [name]Sinclair[/name]. Those all would be rockin’ names with [name]Gordon[/name].
