[name_f]My[/name_f] name is [name_f]Marcelina[/name_f] (mar-seh-lina) and for the last 12 years I despised nicknames for myself and never let anyone call me anything else. Now I want to shorten my name to [name_f]Marcy[/name_f] which is pretty normal because everyone likes short names. Please don’t misunderstand me I’m not changing my beautiful name I’m just making up a nickname. So I would like your opinion about that.Is it OK to get a new nickname when you are 12 and everyone knows you as [name_f]Marcelina[/name_f]?Also I have this other dilemma with middle names for [name_f]Marcy[/name_f] because I don’t have a middle name so I want to make one up:

You can absolutely choose a nickname and middle name for yourself. [name_f]Marcy[/name_f] is cute. I think [name_f]Marcelina[/name_f] [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] is gorgeous.
[name_f]Marcy[/name_f] is a really cute nickname. I agree that [name_f]Marcelina[/name_f] [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] is beautiful, but I also love [name_f]Marcy[/name_f] [name_f]Annabel[/name_f].
Make people call you [name_f]Marcy[/name_f]. And punch them if they don’t. [name_m]Just[/name_m] kidding. I think [name_f]Marcy[/name_f] is great and people who know you should be fine with that. Sometimes you might have to remind people just because they automatically said your other name, if they have known you for a long time or are old or whatever. But after a while, it will be easy and normal and new people you meet will just know you as [name_f]Marcy[/name_f].

[name_f]Marcy[/name_f] [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] - Something feels mismatched here. It flows but I think it sort of two different genres of name that don’t quite go together. But it’s cool at the same time. I like it better than some of your other choices.

[name_f]Marcy[/name_f] Loiuse - no. It’s like one letter off from [name_f]Mary[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f]. Which is fine. Where [name_f]Marcy[/name_f] [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] is modern, [name_f]Mary[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f] is vintage. Honestly, I personally am not a fan of the name [name_f]Louise[/name_f].
