Looking for girl names for a little one! My favorites are:
[name_f]Lily[/name_f]
[name_f]Katherine[/name_f] (nn [name_f]Kate[/name_f] or [name_f]Katie[/name_f])
[name_f]Greta[/name_f]
[name_f]Eliza[/name_f]
[name_f]Maeve[/name_f]
[name_f]Margaux[/name_f]
[name_m]Lael[/name_m]
[name_f]Natalie[/name_f]
[name_f]Alice[/name_f]
What do you think? Also any middle names you think would go well with any of them would be greatly appreciated!
[name_f]Lily[/name_f] - rapidly rising in popularity, it’s also part of the “[name_f]Lila[/name_f], [name_f]Leia[/name_f], [name_f]Layla[/name_f], [name_f]Lola[/name_f]” crowd. Unless it holds a lot of meaning for you, or it’s THE one, I wouldn’t consider it.
[name_f]Katherine[/name_f] (nn [name_f]Kate[/name_f] or [name_f]Katie[/name_f]) - this has always been a popular name, but it’s a substantial name that does it’s own thing. It’s beautiful, regal, and both [name_f]Kate[/name_f] and [name_f]Katie[/name_f] are nicknames that sound smart (unlike, say, [name_f]Polly[/name_f] or [name_f]Sadie[/name_f]).
[name_f]Greta[/name_f] - wow, what a lovely name that’s chic right now. It’s gentle and sweet, but also has a sophistication about it.
[name_f]Eliza[/name_f] - this seems old-fashioned but modern at the same time, which is why it’s become more popular lately. Lots to love about [name_f]Eliza[/name_f].
[name_f]Maeve[/name_f] - while I think this is a fabulous name all on its own, literally all of the Avas and Averys I know (like, 5 or 6 kids) are called “[name_f]Ave[/name_f]” by everyone.
[name_f]Margaux[/name_f] - well, I think this spelling is a bit complicated, and it reminds me of [name_f]Margaux[/name_f] [name_m]Hemingway[/name_m] (not a great association, imo). [name_f]Margaux[/name_f]/[name_f]Margot[/name_f] was hip when it was given to a few kids only, but it doesn’t warrant the popularity it has now, imo.
[name_m]Lael[/name_m] - I love this beautiful name! To me it’s much more original than [name_f]Lily[/name_f], but has the same elegance.
[name_f]Natalie[/name_f] - an easy name to wear and love. It’s sweet and beautiful, with a nice meaning.
[name_f]Alice[/name_f] - I’ve always thought this name was a bit prim. It’s the most conservative name on your list.
Favourites:
[name_f]Katherine[/name_f]
[name_f]Greta[/name_f]
[name_m]Lael[/name_m]
[name_f]Natalie[/name_f]
Suggestion:
[name_f]Margaret[/name_f] or a pretty variant like [name_f]Margarethe[/name_f] or [name_f]Margareta[/name_f]. You have both [name_f]Greta[/name_f] and [name_f]Margaux[/name_f] on your list. Both are derived from [name_f]Margaret[/name_f]. So, why not just use the full name, formally, and use [name_f]Greta[/name_f] or [name_f]Margaux[/name_f] (or both!) as shortforms?
My favorites from your list are [name_f]Greta[/name_f], [name_f]Eliza[/name_f], [name_f]Maeve[/name_f], [name_f]Alice[/name_f], and [name_f]Natalie[/name_f]. You can make lots of combinations from your list:

[name_f]Greta[/name_f] [name_f]Delphine[/name_f]
[name_f]Eliza[/name_f] [name_f]Katherine[/name_f]
[name_f]Eliza[/name_f] [name_f]Margaux[/name_f] or [name_f]Margaret[/name_f]
[name_f]Eliza[/name_f] [name_f]Frances[/name_f]
[name_f]Eliza[/name_f] [name_f]Rosamond[/name_f]
[name_f]Maeve[/name_f] [name_m]Lael[/name_m]

[name_f]Natalie[/name_f] [name_f]Katherine[/name_f]
[name_f]Natalie[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f]
[name_f]Natalie[/name_f] [name_f]Margaux[/name_f]
[name_f]Natalie[/name_f] [name_f]Primrose[/name_f]
[name_f]Lily[/name_f] - Sweet, classic. Very popular these days.
[name_f]Katherine[/name_f] (nn [name_f]Kate[/name_f] or [name_f]Katie[/name_f]) Also, sweet, classic. [name_m]Will[/name_m] never go out of style.
[name_f]Greta[/name_f] - To me this does not sound pretty at all. Very harsh, old lady.
[name_f]Eliza[/name_f] - Elegant and simple at the same time. Would make a charming middle.
[name_f]Maeve[/name_f]- I never got into this one.
[name_f]Margaux[/name_f] - [name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Margot[/name_f], not really [name_f]Margaux[/name_f]. Spunky, grounded, not so common…a great choice.
[name_m]Lael[/name_m] - Too off the beaten road for me.
[name_f]Natalie[/name_f] - For some reason I never really liked this name. Maybe because all the Natalies I know are kind of awkward.
[name_f]Alice[/name_f] - [name_f]Lovely[/name_f].
Combos from your list:
[name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Eliza[/name_f]
[name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Katherine[/name_f]
[name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Katherine[/name_f]
[name_f]Eliza[/name_f] [name_f]Katherine[/name_f]
I know a couple of real life people with names from your list, and love their names: [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] [name_f]Maeve[/name_f], and [name_f]Greta[/name_f] [name_f]Katherine[/name_f].
