11 weeks pregnant with #2!! I know it’s early, but I’m just feeling like I can’t come up with ANY names I like, let alone love. I am a planner and I like to have lists, so when we find out baby’s gender I can start to narrow things down.
My son is 8 1/2 and I feel like his name, [name_u]Camerin[/name_u], is the only name I’ve ever LOVED. It was a favorite since high school and I was pretty much set on using it regardless of gender, tho I really loved it for a boy. I’m in need of some help here, to even start a list.
My style tends to be unisex names, and lots of surnames…but I just can’t pin anything down. Any and all help is appreciated! Thanks in advance!

FH and I have been brainstorming, along with my mom, sister and best friend…we have come up with [name_f]Chelsey[/name_f], [name_f]Natalie[/name_f], [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] and [name_f]Kaia[/name_f] for girls, which I feel like is all over the place style wise! And for boys [name_m]Boston[/name_m], Culder (NN [name_m]Cully[/name_m] which I adore!), McQuaide and [name_u]Shea[/name_u]. I can’t see myself loving any of them, but these seem to be the base of the list. I really love [name_m]Cully[/name_m] but I’m not a fan of any of the formal names that get me there. I love [name_f]Georgia[/name_f], [name_f]Kaia[/name_f], [name_f]Natalie[/name_f] & [name_m]Boston[/name_m] (though I’d only use [name_m]Boston[/name_m] as a middle personally). [name_m]Cully[/name_m] is adorable- what about [name_u]Sullivan[/name_u] nn [name_u]Sully[/name_u] rather than [name_m]Cully[/name_m]? [name_u]Sullivan[/name_u] is a surname so maybe more your style?
I agree that [name_u]Camerin[/name_u] & [name_f]Kaia[/name_f] is gorgeous, but so is [name_u]Camerin[/name_u] & [name_f]Georgia[/name_f]… [name_u]Camerin[/name_u] & [name_u]Sullivan[/name_u] sound great together too
Oddly, I don’t really like [name_u]Sullivan[/name_u]/[name_u]Sully[/name_u] despite my love for [name_m]Cully[/name_m]. What’s the thought on [name_m]Cully[/name_m] as a stand alone name? Middles would be [name_m]Robert[/name_m] [name_m]Leo[/name_m] to honor fathers and grandfathers on both sides.
I’m also really loving [name_u]Camerin[/name_u] and [name_f]Kaia[/name_f] the more I say them together. Middle name would be [name_f]Suzanne[/name_f] to honor my grandmother. The only issue I run in to is my sisters objection bc she has a niece named [name_f]Kyleigh[/name_f] who goes by [name_m]Ky[/name_m]…she’s complaining that it’s too close bc [name_f]Kaia[/name_f] would no doubt end up being called [name_u]Kai[/name_u]/[name_f]Ki[/name_f]/[name_m]Ky[/name_m] as well…
Surname is [name_m]Reeves[/name_m] so R, S and V sounds are all out for me. I like [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] but dislike the flow. Also [name_f]Eve[/name_f]…doesn’t work! So hard to name a baby! I didn’t feel this way the first time around!
If you like Kaia what about Tyla? I have a cousin called Tyla and it suits well. Tyla Suzanne would be very pretty and she could go by the full name or Ty/Lala. Tayla would also be pretty
For boys I think Ethan , Jameson or Wesley would work well.
[name_f]Tyla[/name_f] is pretty but my fiancé and his family are from Rhode Island and Massachusetts and all I can think of is them saying “[name_u]Tyler[/name_u]” with their accent! Same with [name_f]Tayla[/name_f]…my cousin [name_u]Taylor[/name_u], born and raised in Massachusetts, is basically called [name_f]Tayla[/name_f] lol
I don’t like [name_m]Ethan[/name_m], it’s far too popular for my taste. My son plays hockey and there were 3 Ethans on his team this season! A good friend has a boy named [name_u]Jameson[/name_u]…but I like [name_m]Wesley[/name_m] a lot! That’ll be added to the list for sure.
