Of course, my husband and I find ourselves liking THE most popular boy names. So, which do you like? [name_m]How[/name_m] many little [name_u]Noah[/name_u]'s or [name_m]Henry[/name_m]'s do you know?
Suggestions anyone?
I know one kid who goes by his first and middle name w/mn–[name_u]Noah[/name_u]. I prefer it over [name_m]Henry[/name_m].
I know a handful of each, from 1yr-5yrs. I’d say I hear them equally often. But hey, they’re so crazy popular for a reason - they’re beautiful names. I’d just wait to meet him.
I live in a super small town full of people who love to copy each other. I’ve never met a [name_m]Henry[/name_m] and I know 7 [name_u]Noah[/name_u]'s!!! I think it has a lot to do with where you live!!!
I love both of those names, [name_u]Noah[/name_u] slightly more than [name_m]Henry[/name_m]. No [name_m]Henry[/name_m]'s here, but a boatload of little [name_u]Noah[/name_u]'s. Names are so regional tho. Lots of names that aren’t so popular other places are really hot here.
I like both names. Personally, I would rather have [name_m]Henry[/name_m] as a classic middle name, and have [name_u]Noah[/name_u] as a potential first name.
I love both names and I have never met anyone, any age with either name.
I vote for [name_m]Henry[/name_m]. I actually don’t know many of either, but I hear [name_u]Noah[/name_u] more often
[name_u]Noah[/name_u] and [name_m]Henry[/name_m] are both very handsome. I love [name_u]Noah[/name_u] and adore [name_m]Henry[/name_m]. I have [name_m]Henry[/name_m] [name_m]Birch[/name_m] on my short list, both names honoring my dad. I have known/know a small handful of each.
This is a really easy question for me! I prefer [name_m]Henry[/name_m] over [name_u]Noah[/name_u]…It’s just to me every little boy I come across is named [name_u]Noah[/name_u] and I don’t meet very many [name_m]Henry[/name_m]'s I think I have only met in my whole life two people named [name_m]Henry[/name_m] and about it seems like a million named [name_u]Noah[/name_u]. So to me [name_u]Noah[/name_u] seems more popular than [name_m]Henry[/name_m] but yes it does have a lot to do with where you live. If I was you I would go with [name_m]Henry[/name_m]! It seems a lot more handsome than [name_u]Noah[/name_u] any day of the week.
Only [name_u]EVER[/name_u] met one [name_m]Henry[/name_m] and it is a lovely classic name
I feel like if you call him [name_u]Noah[/name_u] his name will be very tied a particular generation but both names are fine
I prefer [name_m]Henry[/name_m]. [name_u]Noah[/name_u] is nice, but I grew up with a few [name_u]Noah[/name_u]'s, and it wasn’t the coolest name back then, so I think that impression has persisted.
I actually don’t know any little [name_u]Noah[/name_u]'s, and only one [name_m]Henry[/name_m]. I don’t come in contact with lots of kids though day to day.
I know lots of both. I prefer [name_m]Henry[/name_m] and like that it has the nickname [name_m]Harry[/name_m]. I don’t think [name_u]Noah[/name_u] has any good nicknames. [name_u]Noah[/name_u] is also very biblical - not sure if that matters to you or if you’re religious but people may assume you are.
In the end, names are popular because they sound great! Consider though the impact on your child of having such a popular name. I was one of those kids and it always bothered me and got in the way. I sound like a broken record because I just wrote this in another forum, but I was one of 4 [name_f]Christina[/name_f]'s on my high school basketball team. It sucks always having to be [name_m]Henry[/name_m] R. or [name_u]Noah[/name_u] L.
Popularity doesn’t have to matter to you but it’s something to consider! At least you realize how popular they are!!
I know 4 Henrys all under the age of 4. I only know one [name_u]Noah[/name_u] and he is my age (30s).
I prefer [name_m]Henry[/name_m]. As far as popularity, both are names I hear fairly regularly, so it’d be hard to say one was more common than the other.
I love both names! [name_u]Noah[/name_u] is my current favorite though, so naturally I’d vote for that. I actually don’t know anyone named [name_u]Noah[/name_u] or [name_m]Henry[/name_m].
