I’m thinking of switching around my current combos. I like [name_f]Hermione[/name_f] [name_f]Olive[/name_f] but I don’t love [name_f]Olive[/name_f] as much as I want to on its own. So I’m thinking about these two:
[name_f]Hermione[/name_f] [name_f]Lilia[/name_f]
[name_f]Hermione[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]
What do you think? Thanks, Berries!
I love [name_f]Hermione[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f], [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] doesn’t seem quite right.
I don’t think it’s too Shakespearean. Most people probably associate [name_f]Hermione[/name_f] more with [name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_m]Potter[/name_m] as opposed to [name_m]Shakespeare[/name_m].
I prefer [name_f]Hermione[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]. [name_f]Hermione[/name_f] [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] sounds a tad weak imo.
Is it possible to be too Shakespearian?
[name_f]Hermione[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] is great. I prefer it to [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] which is a bit tongue-twistery. I agree with pp that I doubt most people would think of [name_m]Shakespeare[/name_m] with [name_f]Hermione[/name_f] anyway.
I have read a few of [name_m]Shakespeare[/name_m]'s works and I never would have thought of [name_f]Hermione[/name_f] as a “[name_m]Shakespeare[/name_m] name”, and it’s not like [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] is unusual
I like both combos but it depends on what youre going for
If you want a classic, vintage and kind of elegant feel, then you should go for [name_f]Hermione[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]
If you want to tone down [name_f]Hermione[/name_f]'s old lady vibe, then the sweet [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] would be a lovely choice
I think [name_f]Hermione[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] is fine. As prevoious posters have mentioned, most would probably think [name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_m]Potter[/name_m], and then [name_m]Shakespeare[/name_m], if at all. I don’t think two [name_m]Shakespeare[/name_m] names together is bad anyway (depending on characters).
I think it’s fine. There are multiple [name_m]Shakespeare[/name_m] names I’d use in a sibset. And a middle name won’t be used all the time anyway.
I think [name_f]Hermione[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] is beautiful, and I think most people won’t make the [name_m]Shakespeare[/name_m] connection. [name_m]Even[/name_m] if they did, it would be fine! [name_m]Shakespeare[/name_m] used an awful lot of names, and so it’s quite easy to have multiple “[name_m]Shakespeare[/name_m]” names in one combo.
If it bothers you though, I think [name_f]Hermione[/name_f] [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] is gorgeous too!
Yay, I’m glad that “too much [name_m]Shakespeare[/name_m]” in one name doesn’t seem to be a problem
[name_f]Hermione[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]!!! It’s perfect, not too Shakespearean at all!
I love [name_f]Hermione[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]. Its very beautiful… but I feel like it may be overkill. You use two main characters in two well-known stories. But it has such lovely vibre I say go for it. Be overkill and be awesome…
Hahaha I love this, what a confidence booster!
I’m so glad everyone seems to like [name_f]Hermione[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]. I think I’ve found my perfect mn for [name_f]Hermione[/name_f]!
