[name_m]Hi[/name_m] everybody! I need the help of my fellow writers again.
I have an idea for a new protagonist. He is a thirty-seven-year-old homicide detective working in either Los [name_f]Angeles[/name_f], NYC, [name_m]Baltimore[/name_m], or D.C. (still haven’t decided yet). He is good-looking, tall, in good shape, and has dark hair and dark blue eyes. He is what I’m thinking of calling “shadow-touched” or something like that: he dies, then comes back to life. My protagonist took a bullet meant for his partner/secret lover [name_f]Amanda[/name_f] (a dirty cop BTW), then outsmarted the grim reaper–a wise-cracking, punk badass death angel named [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f]–sent to kill them both. Because of this, he has supernatural/psychic visions, though his abilities are limited. And because she royally screwed up (again), [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] is now trapped on earth, sentenced to be the protagonist’s “guardian” angel, so to speak. For the time being, the two are stuck with each other.
I’ve been debating between [name_m]Archie[/name_m] Barcott or [name_m]William[/name_m] [name_m]Benson[/name_m] for the protagonist’s name. But, somehow, neither seems to fit perfectly. But what do you guys think? Any name suggestions that would fit this cop, and sounds good with the last name Barcott or [name_m]Benson[/name_m]? All suggestions are welcomed!
Thanks guys!
