oh, i think itβs so sweet! hetty was one of my favourite names as a kid (after hetty in caddie woodlawn), and i think that violet is a great pairing. i really like the symmetry of the "et"s - i think it makes it flow well without being repetitive.
itβs definitely in keeping with your top names as well - i could see hetty violet as a sister to edith story, ida marigold, ruth lilac, mabel honey, or winnie olive in particular!
what about:
hetty pearl
hetty garnet
hetty summer
hetty sonnet
hetty clover
hetty meadow
thank you so much for your insight! Iβd never heard the name hetty until I heard of the folk singer hedy west (pretty sure thatβs how you spell it!)
hetty pearl, hetty clover, and hetty meadow are right up my alley thanks again!!
[name_f]Hetty[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] is so lovely! I never really think of [name_f]Hetty[/name_f] as a standalone name, but now that I see it, itβs adorable.
Personally Iβm in the minority where Iβm not a massive fan of [name_f]Hetty[/name_f]. I see the appeal itβs a vintage nickname, fits right in with the Lottieβs, Evieβs & Nellβs off this world and I think she feels fun but I just think of the expression βgetting het upβ which isnβt the best. I think [name_f]Hetty[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] works but prefer [name_f]Hattie[/name_f] or [name_f]Betty[/name_f].
Thank you for your honesty and insight! I love [name_f]Betty[/name_f], but Iβm not the biggest fan of [name_f]Hattie[/name_f] (bad experience with one).
Not usually a [name_f]Violet[/name_f] fan, but [name_f]Hetty[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] is so sweet
[name_f]Hetty[/name_f] [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] is the combo I had a while ago, but [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] feels a little uninteresting to me next to the rest of your names (which are so lovely btw!)
[name_f]Hetty[/name_f] [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] is so cute but yea I think if I met two sisters named [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_f]Darling[/name_f] and [name_f]Hetty[/name_f] [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] Iβd be like wait what
@hannahwren thatβs alright itβs a shame when an experience with someone puts you off personally using a name glad you like [name_f]Betty[/name_f]. I think [name_f]Betty[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] would be sweet.
