oh, i think it’s so sweet! hetty was one of my favourite names as a kid (after hetty in caddie woodlawn), and i think that violet is a great pairing. i really like the symmetry of the "et"s - i think it makes it flow well without being repetitive.

it’s definitely in keeping with your top names as well - i could see hetty violet as a sister to edith story, ida marigold, ruth lilac, mabel honey, or winnie olive in particular!

Personally I’m in the minority where I’m not a massive fan of [name_f]Hetty[/name_f]. I see the appeal it’s a vintage nickname, fits right in with the Lottie’s, Evie’s & Nell’s off this world and I think she feels fun but I just think of the expression β€˜getting het up’ which isn’t the best. I think [name_f]Hetty[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] works but prefer [name_f]Hattie[/name_f] or [name_f]Betty[/name_f].

Not usually a [name_f]Violet[/name_f] fan, but [name_f]Hetty[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] is so sweet :purple_heart:

[name_f]Hetty[/name_f] [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] is the combo I had a while ago, but [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] feels a little uninteresting to me next to the rest of your names (which are so lovely btw!) :see_no_evil:

@hannahwren that’s alright it’s a shame when an experience with someone puts you off personally using a name glad you like [name_f]Betty[/name_f]. I think [name_f]Betty[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] would be sweet.
