I like the softness and magical feel of -wen names, so Heulwen is my pick. It’s a beautiful name I’ve never come across before.

I think the issue is that I wouldn’t pronounce “heul” like “hail”, I’d say it more like “hewl”. So I think both are equally difficult to say on first glance. I prefer the sound of Heulwen.

Pronunciation won’t be an issue in my area but I am worried about if she moved away to university or something but I think all welsh names will have the same pronunciation issues.
