Hi, new poster with name questions

[name]Hi[/name]! I have been checking out nameberry for a few months and since my husband does not share the same name obsession I do, thought I would ask you all for some ideas.
We have 5 children (4 living, one stillborn and named) and are expecting another in [name]March[/name]. They are [name]Sebastian[/name] [name]Elihu[/name] (10), [name]Bronwen[/name] [name]Eliza[/name] (8), [name]Linus[/name] [name]Ezra[/name] [name]Graham[/name] (5) and [name]Violet[/name] [name]Leona[/name] (3). Our son who is no longer on this earth is named [name]Felix[/name] [name]Emmanuel[/name].
I hope that gives you a good idea of the kinds of names we like, both my husband and I had very common names growing up ([name]Andrew[/name] and [name]Jennifer[/name]) and we want our children to have names that are unique but not too unusual. (Which after [name]Violet[/name] was born we are seeing her name pop up more and more and [name]Bronwen[/name] confuses people when they first hear it but they get used to it).
For boys, currently like [name]Peregrine[/name] [name]Lazar[/name] and that is pretty much it. For girls we both like [name]Agatha[/name] and and I also like [name]Daphne[/name], [name]Althea[/name] ā€œ[name]Thea[/name]ā€ and [name]Astrid[/name]. DH has been stuck on [name]Penelope[/name] since I was pregnant with [name]Linus[/name] however I see that name really turning popular over the next few years sort of like how [name]Violet[/name] has been going.
If its up to me, we will wait until baby is born to see the gender and then choose a name based on who we think he or she ā€œlooks likeā€. I want to have a list of name combinations though, especially more for boys.

Our trend is that the kids have middle names that start with E or L since my middle name starts with E and [name]Andy[/name]'s with L. Second middle names do not matter as much, we arent oppised to double ones as one of our children has one but its not needed.
So far, the girls have middle names that are variations of family names, so daughter would need that beginning with an E or L.
Family names that we are open to using
[name]Karen[/name]
[name]Elaine[/name]
[name]Mary[/name] [name]Ann[/name]
[name]Edna[/name]
[name]Evelyn[/name]
[name]Stephanie[/name]

The boys names are all so far names chosen for their meaning. We would like a Hebrew name if possible to keep the trend. [name]Lazar[/name] is the only one we both like so far.

Thanks in advance, I look forward to posting with everyone and look forward to the name ideas.

Iā€™m thinking you might like [name]Boaz[/name] for a boy.

And, by the way, I love [name]Daphne[/name] and [name]Althea[/name]!

Congrats on your soon-to-be new addition
I like [name]Evelyn[/name]. [name]How[/name] do you feel about [name]Elliot[/name] or [name]Sidney[/name] or [name]Mikael[/name] or [name]Ilan[/name] or [name]Samson[/name]?

Not too much a fan of [name]Boaz[/name] since it would be a first name (not starting with an E or L). I have friends with boys named [name]Sidney[/name] and [name]Elliot[/name]. [name]Michael[/name] is my brothers name ( not to mention with our last name, [name]Mikael[/name] would be the exact same name as a famous conspiracy theory film maker). [name]Ilan[/name] is ok, however I do not think it fits as a first name. [name]Samson[/name] I live except it begins with the same letter as [name]Sebastian[/name] and so far the kids all have their own letter in first names.
Sorry for shooting stuff down, keep them coming!

Oh my gosh, I love your childrensā€™ names! What about [name]Ephraim[/name] for a middle name? Itā€™s Hebrew and begins with an E. I also love your choices of [name]Althea[/name] and [name]Daphne[/name]. I do like [name]Peregrine[/name] also, nn [name]Perry[/name].

no need to apologize; itā€™s good to have something to go on. anything close?

[name]Ephraim[/name] fits the bill except for the meaning. Have to think about that one. I tend to in general like older names that are heard of but that you do not hear that often. Like I said before, [name]Violet[/name] is probably the most popular. ([name]Sebastian[/name]'s is higher on the ssa list, however, we hardly ever run into another. Especially not in the area where we liveā€¦names like [name]Camden[/name], [name]Karsen[/name], and [name]Max[/name] are popular in his age group locally or [name]Matthew[/name], [name]Luke[/name], [name]Nathan[/name] etc) blueberria, the only name I really like on your lists is [name]Naomi[/name], although [name]Nathaniel[/name] is nice too just doesnt fit my style.
I also find myself when reading baby name books gravitating towards the groups of ā€œEuropean namesā€ and"Saints names" . We did not know Vioā€™s gender and my favorite boys name was [name]Ansel[/name] at the time. I do still like this name, but DH is only so-so on it now.

Here are some ideas:

For girls:
[name]Evangeline[/name]
[name]Eve[/name]
Ellowyn
[name]Lilibet[/name] (form of [name]Elizabeth[/name])

For boys first names:
[name]Amadeus[/name]
[name]Aragon[/name]
[name]Armand[/name]
[name]Corwin[/name]
[name]Desmond[/name]
[name]Rhett[/name]
[name]Inigo[/name]

[name]Elonzo[/name]
[name]Rogelio[/name]
[name]Ozias[/name]
[name]Wystan[/name]
[name]Pierce[/name]
[name]Caspian[/name]

For boys middle names:
[name]Eleazar[/name]
[name]Lazarus[/name]
[name]Lazaro[/name]
[name]Elijah[/name]
[name]Elisha[/name]

[name]Peregrine[/name] is a FANTASTIC name! I will say though that it does confuse people at first and we have gotten a lot of, ā€œI didnā€™t know that was a nameā€ comments. Itā€™s so old nobody knows it anymore but I hope more people will use it for boys and bring it back. We use the nickname [name]Pippin[/name], which has been a pet form of [name]Peregrine[/name] since Medieval times (and conveniently popularized by Tolkien) and everybody loves it.

[name]Hi[/name] again, Iā€™m looking at lists of european royals, theyā€™re not all hebrew. Are any of these closer?

[name]Love[/name] [name]Daphne[/name], [name]Thea[/name], [name]Mary[/name] [name]Ann[/name], [name]Evelyn[/name]. Sorry, but I really dislike [name]Peregrine[/name]. Your other kids names are great though.

I think your boys choice is fantastic (as are all your names) and I would love to meet a little [name]Agatha[/name] [name]Evelyn[/name]. I also really like [name]Penelope[/name] but I was becoming concerned nd after it was co-opted by a Kardashian it ruined it for me.
