We have never been big on middle names and I do think it should be an honor name.
My mother is [name_f]JoAnn[/name_f] and she was named for my grandparents, [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] and [name_m]Angelo[/name_m]. We have a 3 syllable, 9 letter last name.
I like the name [name_f]Adrienne[/name_f], although I don’t like it pronounced with an American accent, which is how I would pronounce it. haha I think this is one of those names that sounds best in the language from which it originated. Of the names you listed for a middle, [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] is by far the best. [name_f]JoAnn[/name_f] shares too similar an ending with [name_f]Adrienne[/name_f]. It doesn’t flow well. I have the same issue with [name_f]Joanna[/name_f]. I think [name_f]Adrienne[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] is very pretty though.
Of the three my favorite is [name_f]Adrienne[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] because the other two sound a lot like [name_f]Adrienne[/name_f] as has been mentioned.
You could also look at other shorter middle names but I can’t think of one to honor [name_f]JoAnn[/name_f]
I think [name_f]Adrienne[/name_f] [name_f]Joanna[/name_f] is by far the best for flow. (I love both these names too). The ‘n’ ending of [name_f]JoAnn[/name_f] and [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] doesn’t work well after [name_f]Adrienne[/name_f] I feel.
I personally like [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] as a better fit. However I also [name_f]Joanna[/name_f] is a nice spin on honoring your mother and grandparents in a unique new way.
I prefer the flow of [name_f]Adrienne[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]. I am personally not fond of hyphenated names or names with a capital letter in the middle. If a choice was [name_f]Adrienne[/name_f] [name_f]Joanne[/name_f], that would be my second choice. [name_m]How[/name_m] they are now, [name_f]Adrienne[/name_f] [name_f]Joanna[/name_f] is my second choice.
[name_f]Adrienne[/name_f] [name_f]Joanna[/name_f] is absolutely divine. I love both names. I think [name_f]Joanna[/name_f] adds some needed softness to [name_f]Adrienne[/name_f].
[name_f]Adrienne[/name_f] is my favorite name, it’s so beautiful. My favorite is [name_f]JoAnne[/name_f], but I would go with [name_u]Jo[/name_u] or something similar because it’s a little bit of a mouthful
[name_f]Adrienne[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] is an amazing combo. I agree that the double N endings of [name_f]Adrienne[/name_f] and [name_f]Joann[/name_f] or [name_f]Joanna[/name_f] are too repetitive.
[name_f]Adrienne[/name_f] [name_u]Jo[/name_u] would get my vote. [name_f]Joanne[/name_f] and [name_f]Joanna[/name_f] have that similar ann/en sound as [name_f]Adrienne[/name_f]. [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] is such a long middle name especially if your last name is three syllables.
I would surely say [name_f]Adrienne[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] as it seems like such an upscale, elegant name. I don’t love the flow of [name_f]Adrienne[/name_f] [name_f]JoAnn[/name_f] as there’s a few repeating sounds that just don’t feel right… [name_f]Adrienne[/name_f] [name_f]Joanna[/name_f] is equally beautiful but I’m biased since [name_f]Joanna[/name_f] is my name and just doesn’t flow in my head since I hear it so often.
