Hipster Sister: Take 2

It is kind of wordy like someone else said makes me think of a specific kind of Nightingale. But with that said, I still really like it. There’s something about it that really draws you in.

I really don’t like [name_f]Georgina[/name_f] Nightingale though. It doesn’t have the same flow as [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] Nightingale and I don’t like the repeated n’s.

YES. Believe it or not, I actually knew a girl whose middle name was Nightingale, a surname in her family. [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] Nightingale is gorgeous, and although Nightingale is unusual, it doesn’t feel silly or frivolous.

Thanks all! I’m really smitten with this name right now, although the [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] (place) + Nightingale (noun) IS something I’ll have to mull over. Thanks for the feedback!

I love [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] Nightingale!

Personally, I don’t think it’s too wordy. [name_f]My[/name_f] sister is [name_f]Georgia[/name_f], which is fairly common in the UK and more of a name than a place (people don’t associate it with the state at all - they’re more likely to think of the country honestly).

[name_f]My[/name_f] main association with Nightingale is [name_f]Florence[/name_f] Nightingale, and even though I know you’re using it for the bird it’s still a lovely reference.
